How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? Looked hard for a new roleplay server via Google. Definitions What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is acting within the life of a character of your chosing, you will absorb their both their limitations, and advantages while IC. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the act of stepping out of the order of the game and using out of game (or out of roleplay) sources to essentially "cheat" your way around in game obstacles. What is powergaming?: Unfairly making your way to your objective by disregarding rules, manipulating/butchering lore and a player's roleplay. In-Character Information Character’s name: Tyrell Blavier Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human (Farfolk) Character’s age: 43 Biography: Tyrell Blavier was born to a hardworking and loving that family was living the life out in the the plains surrounding Kingston in Anthos. His great childhood would soon come across a bitter fate: the gates of Kingston being closed. This event had flushed the family of any money they had been getting from selling their crop in the city- leaving them only with a quickly dwindling supply of seeds and worn tools. It was not enough to live by for long, and his young and feeble brother died to the harsh conditions his family was not ready for. His father too would commit suicide later due to his belief that he had failed to support his family, the last words Tyrell heard from him were "Do better where I have failed in life, make your father proud.". These were words he would live by. Shortly after these quick succession of unfortunate events the government of Salvus had Kingston reopened which sent Tyrell (who was currently 17) into a rage that they'd simply ruin the lives of many by closing their lifelines, so what did he do? Instead of playing the part of a rebellious teen he decided to take a smarter rout and stuck by the words of his father, to be successful. Tyrell sold the nice cottage in the plains and moved into the city itself with is mother in order to learn the ways of business and government. He learned what he could and found himself starting to make more in a day than his father would in 3. Through the rampant closings and openings of the city he learned how to stay out of trouble while causing it, how to dodge a shifty deal while dealing one and last but not least: how to get out of the way. It wasn't a surprise to Tyrell that the (in his opinion) crappy human leaders would soon bumble and fall so he took his well aged mother and moved out into the countryside in a large plantation, waiting for the moment he can get a profit from the chaos- perhaps he hoped, that he could seize the city for himself with smooth words and the exchange of money. A wise move, but he should of moved farther, his plan was a mediocre success yet it did not account for Orcs to waddle in and grab Kingston and further yet his lavish plantation. Tyrell and his old mother were back at square one, but now he had tasted success once and the world was ahead of him once again. Until they had to go world hoping of course. Personality Traits: Greedy, Distrusting, Staunch, Two-faced, Converses Well, Orderly, loves moms, hates incompetent fathers. Ambitions: Get rich beyond any limits, perhaps set up his own Oligarchy. Strengths/Talents: Bureaucratic, Eye for money. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Blind ambition at times, weak in mind and spirit when feeling poor, avoids physical labor. Appearance: 5'8 height, 144 pounds in weight. Anchor beard and short curly black hair, dark skinned and dark pupils. Well dressed and kept.
