“Everything has a beginning and an end. Life is just a cycle of starts and stops. There are ends we don’t desire, but they’re inevitable, we have to face them. It’s what being human is all about.”

Family History

Mantisuku is a family of noble people in many different places and seem to travel a lot. The family started with a young orphan boy named Craft, he was a very talented human with the passion for blacksmithing new weapons and testing them. He had the goal of making and mastering different types of weapons. As a child, Craft was always outside or training to his fullest with his adopted mother Harpuia Mantisuku. Harpuia Mantisuku, a fine peaceful nature loving wood elf showed Craft the ways of nature and peace. She taught him the ways of the Mantisuku. Mantisuku was made and given as a symbol of the insect praying mantis: Patient, calm, strong and adaptable. On 1417, Craft met a very stunning yet stubborn elven woman named Prarie. Craft thought it was love at first sight when meeting her, and soon they became a couple. Ignoring the laws and beliefs of the races, the two got married. On 1427, Three children were born: Ramza, Delita, and Prishe. As time passed on Craft and Prarie, trained them all in different weapons. Ramza took on the family tradition on becoming a weapon specialist. Years passed, Craft and Prarie died of sickness, leaving the new generation to carry on the Mantisuku tradition. As of 1453, Ramza started a family and has become successful father and leader of the family.

When preparing to fight with a sword, having the proper stance is important. A solid, low stance is required for stability; however, if you are too low, moving around will become difficult to do. Anyone with a stance that is too high can cause them to become unstable. Every step with a sword must end in the proper stance. For instance, feet should always be shoulder width apart and 70 percent of weight must be moved towards the forward leg.

There are several basic cut techniques that can be used with a sword. Everyone will have their own approach to getting the same results. The three basic cut techniques are the basic overhead cut, the side cut, and the vertical cut. When attempting the basic overhead cut, do not use too much force in the right hand as it should guide the blade in the desired direction. Hold the longsword in the left hand only. Many people can tell if they are using the right cutting technique based on the sounds heard in the air while making cuts.

Flowing River of Fierce Fighting technique- consists of three main rule's. The first rule is to stay Patient and Calm at all time's, it is always the key no matter what's headed your way, breaking this rule can be fatal. The second rule is to stay fluid, a stiff fighter is always inaccurate. And the third rule, is to strike with Maximum effect, and we will get to that in the explanation here. is mainly performed with fluid movement of the body. The user will watch the opponent's every move, nothing get's past a master. You rarely block in this form of fighting, you will always counter. For example, if a simple quick punch is thrown, it can be blocked by simply moving the hostile fist out of the way with your wrist, this will also leave the opponent in an unstable position. The user's also has knowledge over every single muscle that is in the human body, thus comes the striking with maximum effect. The strike will always be for an important area, more likely a pressure point.
