Profile Picture Error

Hello everybody! As you may have noticed, I have a default profile picture. This is not out of desire because the default is ugly (no offense), but because an error comes up every time I try to change it. Using the upload, it says "Failed to upload file" and using url picture links it says the same thing. I really have no idea what Gravatar is and I'm not sure I want to use it.

You have to use gravatar for your picture from what I know without cropping it yourself. I used gravatar for mine.

You cannot upload it directly from your computer. Try either using gravatar as James said, or uploading it to an image hosting site like imgur and then using the link from there.

 

You will also probably need to crop it a bit smaller.

usually I can just copy paste the url and it works if that doesn't work then Idk.

Directly uploading the avatar to LotC is for some reason currently broken. Since it's already on imgur try just importing via URL and inputting the URL of the image.
