Blundermore 2741 Share Posted November 24, 2014 The Pegasus Just doing this for a secret santa gift. Need some help of deciding how to base it though! I could put cotton balls at the bottom to simulate clouds with the pillar of rock jutting through it that he is standing on (I need a solid object to secure him to which is why I'm opting for a pillar of rock which will be made from a cork). I think it is supposed to be a supplement pack used to mount one of your characters on if you didn't have a Pegasus mount for them already, but the friend I am making this for is more interested in animals than people so it works pretty well, and also because I would have to spend about 20 hours longer because I would want to do proper heraldry for the Bretonnian Knight and his clothes. That could work... just need to be concious of the time I have (the deadline for this is the 13th of December). But it could work... Will have to sculpt it by hand though. I forgot you made figurines, blunder. I second this though. Yeah It's not really something that comes up as often as it should. I like the clouds idea more, rocks could simulate rocky peaks and such. I would recommend using the plastic "see through" cylinder that most 40k models come in, just cover it with cotton balls for clouds like you said. Anywho pretteh kewl. The Cloud option would be a lot easier and less time consuming, whilst the fire is a contrast and a more difficult challenge that I could try.
