A Suggested Solution For A Problem Didn't Work For Me

   Hello. I've taken a bit of a break from this server for a while, and decided to try to come back recently; however, I've run into a bit of a snag recently. When I clicked on multiplayer, I wasn't able to connect to lotc, because I apparently "Can't resolve hostname"; however, I read the advice given to a player who had the same problem in this post https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/119398-support-request-cant-resolve-hostname/ but the solution given to that player didn't work for me. I'm not sure why. So, I decided to make a post asking if anyone knew any other solutions, or if anyone could help me figure out why the solution given in the linked thread didn't work for me. So far, I've tried that suggestion; I've tried flushing my dns; I've tried all kinds of different IP's; and I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling my minecraft. Any help would be much appreciated.

I've had the same issue. I use the direct connect function now and seems to be doing the job.

Gave it a try. It just said "Failed to connect to the server Unknown host". Did you enter mc.lotc.co under "Server Address" when it worked for you, or did you use a different IP?

Also tried mc.lordofthecraft.net. Same result.
