-Biography:

Finrod was born 116 years ago by elf reckoning to the delight of parents Huor and Séreméla Lossëhelin, two hard working and well respected Elfs within the small community in which they lived, deep in the forest of Aegis. Huor was a good father, working hard as a lore master to provide for the family, with Séreméla choosing to stay at home and nurture Finrod's increasingly inquisitive nature, so Finrod grew up to be a good member of the community; both happy and prosperous. However around his 100th birthday he started to have strange dreams.

These dreams would come to Finrod in particularly stifling and infectious summer nights, and would leave him awake and in a cold sweat. In his dreams he would see the nether, see the undead and see the terror that was preparing itself in the unknown. Finrod was renowned in the community for his exceptional sense of empathy, especially with other races; however this sometime got him into trouble when he pried too far into business that was not his own. It was this empathy however that started to drive Finrod on the quest which we now join him, 16 years after the dreams that showed what was threatening Aegis and all of it's people.

On the morning of Finrod's 116th birthday but a few weeks ago, the urges deep inside him finally grew too much. He HAD to leave his family, his home and his friends and go out on a quest to warn the people of Aegis. He knew it wouldn't be easy or that it would be accomplished quickly but he just knew that if he didn't go the dreams would continue to haunt him forever.

Finrod quickly packed the few possesions a humble elf owns (some sustaining food, few spare garments and his bow and blade, taught him over the last few decades by the communities High Warrior) and scribbled a note for his loving parents to try and explain what he had to do. It read:

Loving Parents;

I am afraid that today is the day I must leave our home and start to forge my own path and find my own destiny. I cannot truly understand why I must go, but I know that I must.

Do not fear for me, I will first head for Laurelin and there I will stay until I have found allies which will go forth with me on my quest to warn the kingdom of the preparation of the undead.

I Will Return.

I must leave now,

With this attached to the kitchen table Finrod said a last goodbye to his home and left, hoping as much as knowing that he will walk through the threshold to his family home once more.

-Character Age: 116.

-Character Appearance: 6'5". Athletic build with long golden hair, often tied back for practicality. Generally found wearing green natural cloting.

-Character Personality: Finrod is determined to experience everything he can, and is very open to new things. He can however get angry quickly at things he finds trivial or unnecessary. Finrod is a hardy friend, but an unforgiving enemy.

Finrod, as previously mentioned, has an incredible sense of empathy and therefore sees in necessary to try and fix any problems with anyone that he encounters, be they Elf or Orc. This has often lead to tensions between him and other young members of the Elf community because they find it very unusual that someone would try to associate themselves so closely with passing creatures such as Orcs. This tension rose especially when Finrod appeared to have a very close friend within the Orc Kingdom, which was infact true but Finrod managed to cover it up.

Finrod hates any sort of racial tension and although that is often seen as a noble trait, it could very easily send him spiraling into a world of madness and hate.

-Your ambitions: To explore the whole of Aegis, sampling all of it's beauties and getting to know all of it's peoples.

Later Finrod will refine his purpose to constructing strong emotional ties and diplomatic relations between all of Aegis' people in the hope of building a world were all emotion can be free, and there need not be any cloaked hate or deceit. He is not sure how he will achieve this, but is sure that the end will justify any means used.

-Can your character read or write?: Yes, he was taught well by the small group of eldars in the forest. He has also learnt to communicate well with other races.

-Can your character mine?: Yes very well, he is tough and determined.

-Are you a capable builder? Yes

-Can you wield a sword?: Yes Elrond is a fierce warrior.

-Enjoy Farming?: No. Elrond is too impatient.

-Does your character have any special skills?: Yes he can talk to animals.

Other Information For this version of my application I have greatly refined my biography and really thought about my character profile. Please please strongly consider letting me enjoy Lord of the Craft! :)

You need an extensive and indepth character. That means you need an awesome biography and also indepth analysis of your characters ambitions, personality etc... You character is the entire point of this game, you need to put a huge amount of effort and detain into it. It is basically a second person. Make it fun and interesting but not ridiculous, and always within the lore.
