Alstion and its state.

Im afraid Alstion is coming to the end of its days, the rocks are crumbling and cracking, the wood is rotting, the grass is dying, thus have the many merry people of Alstion have left for fear of their own death. I am afraid I may no longer be able to run Alstion, someone else I am close to may have to. I may have to start my journeys and head off to fairer lands of peace and tranquility.

I will still visit if I do end up leaving, talking to the people, and wishing good luck defending the town, I will help it in times when it is in need of aid, Alstion will not be forgotten if it does happen to fall. I never expected Alstion to be so large as it is now, it is becoming hard to rule, hard to keep track of. I have done my best to keep it's citizens as best I can. I treat them as best I can, and help them out as best I can, but I feel I am not doing the best job I can.

The town was once a village of peace, lying in the snow, when only three houses stood tall, with a fire in the middle. My house and the original fire is still there, which are now, crumbling to it's brim. The village of Alstion was soon found out by other people, they too, lived here, but live no more. The village soon became a town, most the people have fell to the undead's grasp.

The undead appear to be finally taking Alstion, as the recent attacks have shown. They have grown in numbers dramatically over the past year or so. Defenses are running low, since most people have fled for safety, we are running low on guards and rangers to protect their Alstion. The walls are crumbling, the town is looking quite unpleasant to this day.

I am afraid I may have to say my farewells, but this is the biggest down of Alstion. We have had our ups, and our downs, but this is the worst. The north its self is falling, there is not much I, nor many people can do. I have not came to a final answer of whether or not I should leave, though I am only thinking of this.

If we leave Alstion then the Undead will have nothing stopping them from attacking Alkhazar.

That is one of the reasons keeping me in Alstion.

No matter what happens, you have been a great friend and Lord.

I hope that you will stay because I don't think there is anyone else who can lead Alstion in the right direction. Recently we have become much too militarized for my taste and leaning on unreliable mercenary forces. I don't think anyone can put Alstion back on the track of a merchant city without your help.

If you do go, I will serve Alstion faithfully until the time comes that I must leave. I hope that you find what you are looking for.

May I ask why Alstion is in a failing state? I thought we were doing great being that in the past couple weeks BOTH Undead Keeps have fallen and Alstion is still growing. But Dan sir, if anything happens to Alstion, I will always serve you.

((I think he is just bored of Alstion and wants to start a new town in a more peaceful part of Aegis. I know I would have left by now if I was him))

(I agree so much destruction... If Dan leaves I will enjoy aiding him in the future to build a new town)

(if we leave we should all gather in the center of Alstion to say our goodbyes and make an exodus far to the West maybe and travel for days till we find a good spot on a large hill and settle there.)

I must thank you all for the replies, Alstion has not fallen just quite yet, but it is soon to. Some parts of the town are irreplaceable, most people have left, and is quickly turning to a ghost town as a result. Those who wish to join me on an adventure off to far lands awaiting us, may, but be warned, the nights are long and dangerous, monsters crawl the nights ahead. I have always been a man of adventure, and always enjoyed them, whether it is seeking treasure in distant lands, or to help people of the needy of me, I would be quite pleased to have a party going off to distant lands, making camp sites along the way; it would be most a fantasy tale of adventurers.

((for those who have said I am getting bored of Alstion, I am not, I really enjoyed looking after its people which it holds; Alstion's last chapter is awaiting it, and it is soon.))

Those who would wish to leave Alstion with me, say so now. If there are enough people, we will leave, the people who dont, may stay and establish a new ruler. If we/I do leave, we will meet outside of the memorial tower.

Aye Saint Daniel, I swear my allegiance to you.

((When do we leave? I am leaving for a few days so I may miss it.))
