A Discovery In Gimblewood

On the 12th day of Snow's Maiden, 1488, a discovery was made in the outer borders of the calm Gimblewood... A young gentlehobbit by the name of Bodo Hollowmead, on a walk, smelled something rather sweet. After following his nose, he was led to a cave, which was filled to the brim with the one thing Hobbits love most: ale! Barrels and barrels of it, assorted kinds including ancient recipes that hadn't been seen in centuries (most notably the Ale of Life, made in the year 234 by some of the first of Halflingkind).

At once, Halflings began rolling these barrels to the Drunken Pumpkin, which had been experiencing an ale drought the past few years. Quickly, a notice was written and posted on each and every door in the Dale:

"Ladyhobbits and gentlehobbits!

The ale drought has been ended, bounteous amounts of ale have been found in Gimblewood! Come to the Drunken Pumpkin for free drinks, food, a roaring fire, storytelling, and song. Remember to leave your shovels at home, Sheriff Amell doesn't want to deal with any fights.

Among the discovered ale is the once lost: Applespice Mead, Roxanne's Riot, the legendary Ale of Life - 234 (limited supply), Abeille de Nectar - 1301, Alfred Cotton's Golden Ale, and of course some of Gimblo's gin! Perhaps there are even more flavors to be found, should you come?

Revive the life of the Drunken Pumpkin, be there!"
