Mali'aheral of blessed Haelun'or. Your Okarir'mali has been selected through o vote of the people.

Andria Ith'ael will once again hold the position.

And now, nominations begin once more. Elokarir'nor, the Master of the Land, must be found. Any pure Mali'aheral may nominate themselves for this position.

Nominations will close in an elven day, and a speech is required for a valid nomination.

Duties of Elokarir’nor:

1.) Crops. The Okarir’nor presides over all farms of Haelun’or, assuring they are well kept, tended to and produce produce in a timely and effective manner to serve the mali’aheral.

2.) Mines. The Okarir'nor presides over all mines of Haelun'or, assuring they are well kept, well supported, and are being properly excavated to serve the mali’aheral.

3.) Lumberyards. The Okarir'nor presides over all lumberyards of Haelun'or, assuring they are well kept, replanted, and felled in a timely manner to serve the mali’aheral.

4.) Quota. It is also the duty of the Okarir’nor to create quotas for farmers, lumberjacks and miners to fulfill so that Haelun’or may be adequately supplied with critical resources.
5.) Reporting. It is the duty of the Okair'nor to report any theft of resources for personal use to the Okarir'tir.
6.) Assurance. The Okarir’nor assures that books are provided to the library, food is provided to the inn and building supplies are provided to the Okarir’leyun and his/her assistants.

maehr'sae hiylun'ehya, lliran. Let it begin.

Thallan walks before the small crowd that had gathered just outside of the inn, coughing rather loudly so as to attain their attention. When there is silence, he raised his right arm so as to create emphasis, and begins to speak, his eyes flicking between members of the audience every now and again as he does so.

"Lliran, Mali'aheral, Mali'thilln. I stand before you once more as you gather, this time, however, to run for the position of Elokarir'nor - the Master of the Land.  This role, far less prominent, yet perhaps just as important as that of Okarir'mali, is, as one hopes to prove to you today, much better suited to both myself and my working ethic. Now, on with the speech!

"In the cihi of Annil'sul, before its inevitable destruction,  I, along with a set few others, I remember Ikur as being one, would take on the sole responsibility to man the farms, growing and collecting produce in the most efficient way as we could. As many times as five in an Elven week would I find myself in that field, cutting, replanting and cutting again; it was, to be frank, an endless cycle though it never did wear me down. Through this continuous practice, I honed in upon my rather lacking farming skills, improving them to such a level as one believes would qualify me to upholster this position and the duties therein.

"Having spoken of farming efficiency, one presumes that I should build upon this point so as to benefit my cause in this competition, of sorts. As I'm sure many of those gathered are aware, the farms within elcihi are in a most messy and dishevelled state, equivalent in aesthetic charm, perhaps, as a farm of Elbortu. The farmable acreage of the Blessed Haelun'or should be as organised as its tenders - meaning it to be both clean and tidy, worthy of our most unprofane hands to administer it. Having said this, the current farms do the job which they are assigned to do, much the opposite as to what one would expect when looking at it. This, however, is not enough; just enough is never enough. Similar to the days of Annil'sul and before, I wish to redeem this farm, raising it to a level of efficiency that our people may be proud of.

"A quota, lliran, can easily be organised and this is nothing to worry about. Reporting, also, shan't be a problem should I be appointed. And as for the `assurance` section of this duty list you see just to my left, I have been completing these actions on a daily basis, yet not so regularly as of recent, I am afraid to say. Miss Lazul, for instance, would be able to concur with those of you bothered to ask that I have, in the past, donated blank books to the most wonderful libraries that we have had in times gone by. Furthermore, I shall hold my hand up and say to you that I have donated food, namely bread, toward this inn that I stand before.

"I have much more to say, yet I fear that it would bore you a great deal, so I shall bring my electoral speech to a halt, leaving my hope and aspirations in your hands, lliran. Please vote wisely. Maehr'sae  hiylun'ehya."

Thallan watches over the crowd for a short while, his gaze closing in upon every one in attendance, before he mutters a swift `Van'ayla,` as he strides away, opening the door to the inn, striding inside.

((My text colours have messed up again so it looks plain and bland >_>))
