Compensation for the Commons

 

It has come to the attention of our liege and majesty Andrik Vydra that the common people have suffered from the seizure of their good produced and been neglected payment for their service to the crown.

Henceforth, in the Kingdom of Karovia, each man and woman shall provide for his or herself, the farmer tilling his own wheat, and the blacksmith forging his own crafts. These goods may be sold at the leisure of the owner, goods which may always be sold to the crown for a reasonable price. 

In this way the people may make a living, capable of paying their taxes, receiving just compensation for their works and goods produced and providing for themselves a life of comfort and leisure.

-Peasants and tradesman are no longer expected to provide their resources and time to the state free of charge and will be compensated for goods they produce through reasonable payment. ))

The lord treasurer himself will be running a shop for workers to sell their goods at a fair and even price, it will be located at the front of Akovia right before the gate.
