Rising from the ashes and embers arose a clan of Dwarves with an extraordinary difference than all the others. “Here lie my sons born of dragon fire” ~ DrakKaraad Etching.


                                                                  From Myth to Legend:


The first DrakKaraad were found upon a dragon altar above Kal’Karaad. Inscribed above them was etching which read: “Here lie my sons born of dragon fire”. Two small fires were to the side of the children's heads left flickering in the cold. It was believed by their savior Pikel Boldshoulder who by chance happened to find the freezing Dwed, that they were sons of a dragon, whose image in the form of stone sculpture rest above them. He named them Bane & Thròr, they adopted the last name Dragonfire, being found over the city of fire, and because of them being believed to be Sons of a Dragon or Draagar. Although these ideas are yet to be proven, most who have looked upon these dwarves, with their fiery eyes, believe them. Both Bane & Thròr currently wander around the realm of Athera, looking for clues to whom they truly are.

 

 

                                                              What Is believed about there birth:

 

Pikel, there "Step-Father" believes that a Draggar took the guise of a mortal Dwed, and mated with the rare and sought out female Dwarf. The mother then found out about the Fathers true form, shocked and terrified she fled leaving the two young Dwarves alone.
