Dark skies rimmed across the horizon, an elf leaning against a tree as he gazes at the ever-fading sun, dusk soon enveloping the land in its abyssal maw.

Running his fingers through his elongated hair, the elf pondered, groaning and sighing as he pounded the tree bark, rage plainly plastered across his pale and sickly face.

“… Death… death… it will come for me soon…"

He uttered underneath his raspy breathing. Extending his hands into the sky as he would make a pair of fists, madly flailing about as the cold night wind beat against his chest.

“Soon! Soon I will have my revenge, my kin shall pay for their crimes upon the descendants! For too long have I stood in the shadows… for too long have I watched as They evolved to their grotesque nature, beasts!!"

Hastily withdrawing his gnarled staff, the figure clambered down the hilly mountainside, eagerly plodding through the marshes of Embermoore as a crooked smile crept across his face.

“Revenge."

Lucinda blinked several times as she observed the lone elf raging alone in the midst of the trees, her own little figure laying down on a tree branch and swinging her legs carelessly.

The child turned her head to the side and looked at her companion, ever present though invisible to anyone but her. Luci shrugged. "I 'unno," She said, her voice a bit squeaky. "They were maaaad." Her eyes widened with emphasis, putting a little finger over her mouth to tell her invisible companion to be quiet.

Lucinda turned her head to the side again and watched the elf make their way into the Moores, frowning as he disappeared into the mist. "... What's that place Cala..?" She asked seemingly no one.
