  • Minecraft name(s):  CptShoelace

  • Skype ID: Theschuman

  • Time zone: Central (USA)

  • Have you ever been banned or received a strike? If so, link the report:  https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/104908-cptshoelace-banreport/#entry975693

  • Do you hold / have you held any other staff positions? Nope

  • What MMORPG/video games have you / do you play? (Past and Present) Dragon age, Skyrim, COD, Runescape, Destiny, Halo, Minecraft(duh, lol), Shadow of Mordor.

  • What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a Event member?: Only one, Tog Irongrinder, it would take a lot to part ways with him since he was my first.

  • What race / group do you think your events would best cater to? If none in particular, give an example of the type of group that your events would entertain. Dwarves.

  • What do you believe are key factors for a successful event? Being able to communicate and go with the flow of the event. Along with having a leader for each event to help guide actors or builders if they need help.

  • When was the last time you saw a event? 2/10/15

  • What strengths could you contribute to the Event Team? Are you knowledgeable in lore or great at organizing? I read up on LOTC lore every week so I know a couple things. I’m also good at getting people on task and great at thinking on the fly.

  • Why do you want to be part of the ET? There is a lack of events in dwarven lands and I’m tired of see people just loping around doing nothing.

  • Create three distinct RP scenarios/events based on LOTC lore that you would organize. These are pitches to the Managers and Ouity, not to the community. Note: Not all of the group must be handled at once. Eg: 20+ people via 5 person increments in a dungeon.

    • 1) For 1-3 person

    • 2) For a group of 5-10

    • 3) For a group of 20+

1) It’s dusk along the roads of Urguan embers from the torches begin to fill the night sky as a small patrol of stout dwarves march down the path back toward the capital city. The air suddenly becomes a dense smog. Startled the dwarves draw their weapons. The fog quickly vacates and a small shrill figure in a dark grey cloak covered in dark burn marks. The figure lifts his bony pale, quickly a large ball of flame is launched toward the dwarves. Quickly dodging it one of the dwarves charges the figure but is stopped right in his tracks as if he had been frozen in ice. The dark figure cackles as he tells that they are foolish to challenge him and his master. Briefly after he is finished speaking, a large bolt from one of the dwarves crossbow slices the neck of the figure forcing him to the ground. They attempt to question him but he passes before any information could be passed. All they find on his body is a small map with a circle around an area that looks to be a cave. The dwarves return to the capital and bring the news to the king.

2) After King Irongrinder has received the news of the strange spook he sends a squad of 10 legionnaires to the location on the map. As the dwarves approach the cave one of the soldiers begins to feel ill and waits at the mouth of the cave. As they enter the cave chanting could be heard from deeper in the cave along with a dark red glow. They come to a door where they begin to swing their pickaxes and break down the door introducing a hallway that leads to a room where the chanting is getting stronger. Suddenly a trap is sprung and a large saw blade is thrown down the hallway chopping most of the men to pieces. Screams are heard at the mouth of the cave and the ill soldier runs into the cave to find the men in bits and what looked to be men eating the remains. Horrified the soldier gasps gaining the attention of the cannibals who shriek at him. He begins to run out of the cave but falls into a pit being knocked unconscious.

3) After a couple days passed a package is delivered to the King of Urguan and upon opening he is disgusted and horrified to find the head of the soldier with a face of shock plastered on his face. Rallying the legion he marches a small army of legionnaires along with a chest filled with alchemist fire. At the entrance of the cave he sends in two soldiers trained in using alchemist fire in to the cave and down by the down where the previous men had been slain. Once at a safe distance a flaming arrow is fired into the cave where an explosion shook the area around the cave. Causing it to collapse. Within the rubble a roar is heard and a large red drake bursts from the rock putting silence to the soldiers. Archers begin to fire volleys of arrows toward the drake but just ping off the tough hide of the monster. Fire begins to rain down on the legion but determined not to leave until this beast was killed, the king orders that four catapults launch an iron chain net with weighted balls. The beast falls to the ground with a ear bleeding roar and struggles but is dragged out and toward the sea from where the naval ships were. It takes the entire army but they finally get the drake into the sea where the beast would be cast to the bottom forever. Or so they think…...

  • How long do you plan to stay in the ET? As long as you need me.

  • Tell me a joke

Q:  How many quarters does it take to play the new Lord of the Rings pinball game?

A: None -- it only takes Tolkiens!
