What is roleplaying?: pretending to be another character for enjoyment

What is metagaming?: Say you want your friend to find you, you give him coordinates by pressing f3.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is trying to make your character as powerful as possible while not caring about roleplay or story. Example: You see a sheep, but leave it there because you're roleplaying and you don't need the sheep, a powergamer will think "I can get xp from the sheep and level up" so he goes and kills it

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

            I was born in 1466,  a few villages away from Petrus, the kingdom of Oren. On my 9th birthday my father took me there for the first time.  I will never forget seeing the huge, tall stone walls. Wondering what it'd be like to live inside the city, there'd be no worries, no worrying about the farm, the livestock, etc.

     I was living on a farm. My mom taught me how to read, which I will never be able to repay back to her. Almost all the kids in the village could not read or write. My father had a big map of Athera on the wall of our house. He told me that the world wasn't all what the map made it out to be. He said that there are more lands and islands then what the map showed. I studied that map for years, knowing it like the back of my hand. I would have dreams of exploring new lands and adventuring in the wilds. My mother and father were peasants, so I didn't get to explore much. My brother and I would often go in the forests behind the village and explore, and I would practice to map the forest.              

 Eventually our parents got old, and we had to pull our own weight around the farm and village so I could not explore anymore and my cartography skills got dull.

       Two years later, there was a bandit attack on our village. The bandits wore a red bandana, which I would later learn are the Bannermen of House Flay. My brother and I had time to flee along with a few other people from the village, we tried to get our parents to come with us. They would not come, saying it would be too hard to run away and that they were too old. We had no other choice so we fled to Petrus as refugees. We told them that our village had been ransacked and was burned to the ground. They said we had to have useful skills to live there, I told them that I could read, write and I know how a map works. My brother could read and write also, but he didn't have any other skills that they needed. He became an innkeeper servant, and I became an apprentice in cartography. My dream came true, I was finally living in Petrus, with no worries about the farm or village, but I didn't feel quite as happy as I thought I would.
