How To Work Forge And Optifine 1.8 Together

Okay, so, everyone is having problems using Optifine and Forge at once. Crashing, shutting down of internal servers, ect. I present a solution discovered by Soleie, I am merely sharing it with the server 'cause #mpm is da best and everyone needs it.

To begin with, download specifically download OptiFine 1.8.0 HD U A3 from THIS website. Don't hold me responsible if you accidentally download the wrong thing and get a virus, ;-;

Though once you do that, download Forge from THIS website, once again refrain from downloading any sorts of odd viruses that are obviously not from Forge's website.

As of More Player Models, you can download it here on THIS website, be careful not to downloaded viruses, be aware of what your downloading and if you do download the wrong thing; run a security check and remove it from your computer.

WARNING IT IS BETA SYSTEM AS OF MORE PLAYER MODELS, REFRAIN FROM THROWING YOUR COMPUTER DUE TO AUTOMATIC THIGH GAPS(and any other glitches).

Just make sure the width of the legs are around 96-100+ to avoid this <3

Once doing so, go to %appdata%, then go into your Minecraft folder. Remove any old plugins/mods from the folder that are not 1.8, move the files that you wish to use (Optifine/Forge/ect.) into the mods file. Next step is to double click Forge, push Install Client and then when you go to play Minecraft make sure you selected that account and wa-la enjoy Forge AND Optifine <3

Didn't know where else to post this so ye, off-topic section maybe? ;-;

The thigh gaps are if you don't download MPM for the correct source. If you download it from the link you provided, you should be set.

A few other bugs with MPM:

- You cannot change width or depth (at least I can't).

- Breasts are not working.

Hmm, odd. I could get both of those to work(I am not in need of breasts in game because my character is too young to need them). I'm merely having troubles with seemingly half my feet sinking into the ground.

The mods you download also must be 1.8.0 exactly, and not 1.8.3, etc. Or they will not be compatible and they will break, and/or crash your computer.

I had that problem. Make sure you're doing what

More Player Models simply crashes Minecraft when I try to run it, any suggestions? I followed your instructions completely.

What currently is in your mods folder? And did you download the exact beta download;

At present, that beta MPM doesn't really work. You can't scale your character properly with it.

You need forge for it to work c:

 I do have forge, that's where the mods folder came from, but do I need to put forge into the folder?

Forge should be placed into the mods folder, double click forge too once it is in there.
