the rules): Nope, clear on everything.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I wanted to play on a

RP server, and it was the first and most popular hit.

What is roleplaying?: When you pretend to be a character in game.

This means that your knowledge, speech, personality and actions should

match with your character.

What is metagaming?: When you strategize with outside knowledge of the

game (for example looking up an opponent's stats, or if you share info

with a friend over Skype so that you have instant communication of

things your character shouldn't be able to know)

What is powergaming?: Leveling up or gaining power so intently that

you lose RP (either you ignore the RP or you become nonsensically

overpowered).  Another definition is giving yourself godly powers (for

example saying that you dodged the attacks from an entire enemy army

before slitting all of their throats from behind).



In-Character Information



Character’s name: Sindavar

Character’s gender: Male

Character’s race: Dark Elf (Mali'ker)

Character’s age: 63



Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to

add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that

they don’t contradict history.): As a teenager living in Vanderfell,

Sindavar lived with his family (father, mother and baby brother).  His

father was a successful blacksmith, forging priceless Elven blades for

his costumers and bringing in a fair amount of gold.  However, on the

day that Vanderfell was destroyed, Sindavar's family perished leaving

him the sole survivor of his line.  With few possessions no money, and

no knowledge of geography (otherwise he would have sought others of

his kind in the State of Ker'nor), Sindavar wandered Athera vowing to

avenge his family.  He eventually earned the respect of rangers in

Nerezza with his sharp eye and unusual knowledge of archery for a Dark

Elf (taught by his father), and one human agreed to apprentice

Sindavar with the promise that Sindavar would give him all his gold

and help him with all his quests and jobs.



Soon, the human grew old and Sindavar was extremely skilled with the

bow thanks to his training, and able to use (though not particularly

well) the sword.  Taking his leave of Nerezza, Sindavar wandered the

land once more, earning money by doing a range of military jobs from

assassination to bodyguarding.  Despite his success Sindavar still

seeks to avenge his family and find a Dark Elven city to pledge his

allegiance to.  And although his race is typically passionate and

dresses boldly, Sindavar's unique past has caused him to wear dark

robes (from his training from a ranger) and his exterior to seem

colder, though on the inside he remains bold and passionate.



Personality Traits: Seems to be cold, but remains passionate inside,

extremely loyal to friends but slow to trust others.  Despises

injustice to the point of interfering at his own risk (though he knows

when to retreat).  Sindavar has little sense of humor as the memory of

his family's death still haunts him; however he will do his best to

cheer up companions and friends who are down.

Ambitions: Avenge family, find Dark Elven city to join (would be like

a new family) where he would love to become a military leader and

fight for a noble cause

Strengths/Talents: archery

Weaknesses/Inabilities: little formal schooling, so poor knowledge of

general things (science, magic, history, math, etc.), relatively

isolated so he doesn't warm up to people easily, Sindavar is fair at

swordfighting but only with a well-balanced sword, preferably Elven

made.  This makes him poor at using unbalanced or blunt weapons such

as battle-axes, war hammers or clubs.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE;

height & weight): Sindavar is 6'1" and weighs about 120 pounds.  He

has silvery hair and black eyes, along with the grayish skin of Dark

Elves, but unlike customary Dark Elves, he wears dark robes from his

jobs using stealth.
