Definitions

What is roleplaying?: Participating in a 'make-believe' scenario in which the player takes on the role, knowledges, skills etc. an individual other than themselves.

What is metagaming?: The use of Out Of Character knowledge, or knowledge acquired from any souce other than that which the character has encountered/gathered, to influence the outcome of a scenario, or other In-Character circumstances.

What is powergaming?: No wall is impenetrable to the powergamer; no lock too difficult to pick; no malady incurable. The powergamer is the jack of all trades and master of everything. Powergaming is where characters possess an inordinate amount of power, skill or knowledge, or ridiculously powerful equipment such that their abilities are near-Godlike, they are the one-man adventuring party. Their personal behaviour is often a detriment to other players.

Biography:

In Thales, as a young elf girl Niv' practice husbandry with her Mother (her Father having died during the crossing from The Fringe), sometimes acting as a courier so that she could nourish a budding hunger for adventure.

In Athera, the overthrowing of The Silver Enclave impacted her life very little, as a simple animal breeder. She practiced her family's trade, whilst the need for adventure and the yearn to seek out the world bubbles within her. She wrestled with this for years, while her Mother was understanding an encouraging. Eventually, she concluded that now she nears adulthood, she will join the Druids.

Personality Traits: Protective, nurturing, hospitable, kind

Ambitions: To join the Druids, to seek out the world and make it green and beautiful.

Strengths/Talents: A natural curiosity and thirst for magic. Decent marksmanship, but nothing spectacular. A mutual calmness with animals.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: A bit of a hot-head. Kind to a fault, naive even.

Appearance: Large apple-green eyes; thick, wavy auburn hair; fingers possess small scars from animal-care(scratches and bites); 5' 6", 135; slightly thicker build than average
