Definitions

Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is where you create a fictional character and interact with other players' characters, going on adventures, making conflicts and everything you would do in a fantasy realm, even so just a fictional place. (In this case, gesturing towards the server.)

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the act of using out-of-character (OOC) obtained information and passing it into roleplay, although your or someone else's character did not find out said information whilst in roleplay. For example: A king is about to be assassinated (Said over Skype by player to player) and casually they know and make an action against said assassination. This leads to, and effects roleplay due to this, which causes invalid information in character; more-so even acts that could effect an entire roleplay situation.

What is powergaming?: The definition of power gaming is enforcing and/or asserting a skill/ability or even role onto another individual without allowing for reaction, nor consequence. This affects roleplay by causing disruption, or could harm a player's character due to acts that were obviously unable to happen: powergamed, pretty much messing up the current roleplay and/or environment around.

Character’s name: Mysria Katinva Moonspear

Character’s gender: Female.

Character’s race: Dwarven, particularly the Mountain Dwarf subrace.

Character’s age: Two hundred and eighty six years old.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Mysria Katinva Moonspear was born to the superior Morcion his lovely wife being the kind and generous Alassëa Moonspear in the great Dwarven city of Kal’Urguan. The young Dwarf was the youngest child of two older siblings who were ‘rough’ and ‘tough-skinned’, compared to her, throughout her whole childhood. For the first twenty or so years of the Dwarven woman’s life-- it was full of simplicity, nothing too rough around the edges, easily living under a well-forged family, under her most honorable parents. These years were full of education on language and combat, full of Dwarven culture understanding. But this wasn’t always the most interesting of lives, for it seemed so dull to the growing Dwarf, leaving her to grow a large thirst for knowledge and understanding of the lands outside the common city she resided in. Mysria was one of few Dwarven woman within her community, leaving her with attempts to adapt to how rough the growing Dwarven boys are, training alongside them, whether it be fist fighting or axe, even dagger, too. Over time, more decades would pass as the Dwarven woman would adapt to her townsmen and family members. Wars would come and go, between racial conflicts that would grow ever so confusing. Mysria, in all her years, never grew to understand why races conflicted so much, reasoning towards further education on different cultures. For a rather large extent of time, she became more thirsty for these simple knowledges compared to others, who simply wished to take in the incentives of combat.

After another venture outside of the grand city, Mysria had stumbled upon a wise and old craftsman-- a cobbler by the name of Kirro Gemmaker, someone she would soon look to as a father figure. The talented Elder Dwarf took Mysria, who was now aged around one hundred and twenty eight years old, deeper into Kal’Urguan’s mountains, far into the sturdy forges to take a ‘young’ and ‘enthusiastic’ Dwarf under his wing. For so many years, time went by so quickly as Mysria learned the interesting talent of crafting shoes-- repairing and even creating them from scratch. Years before this event of learning, the previously young Dwarf had grown a fondness for such beautiful works of shoes, admiring them from close corners and afar. Even then, she would insult those who had ‘hideous’ shoes, even gathering a dislike for someone who did not wear fine works of shoes. Mysria’s newfound talent was combined with squireship and simple battle teachings, tactics and sparring-- she became a well-rounded young Dwarf, even outdoing some of the men within Kal’Urguan, at times. It was a joyous act for the woman to excel over the others who may or may not have been judgemental or hypocritical towards her. A few years after she reached the age of two hundred and thirty nine stable years, the Elder, Kirro Gemmaker, had fallen in a smelting accident, where he was making attempts at perfecting a piece and ended up piercing himself in the lower lung, bleeding out quickly. It was a sad event for the aspiring cobbler, one who looked up to this wise and talented man. After his death, the woman made her way back into the more populated part of the grand city, making new attempts to reunite with her family and hopefully begin to belong to a magnificent clan of Dwarves.

----------------------

Personality Traits: Mysria is a rather quirky thing, with a keen outlook towards her clan member's wishes and simply the arts and talents of everyone else. The way the Dwarven woman puts her sentences together could be alluring to those who are ever so endearing or curious, a slight advantage in a logical sense. Years of training had also allowed her to become extremely disciplined-- knowing whether it is right for her to speak or keep quiet in serious situations. Otherwise, she is normally imperious and a bit impulsive, jumping to conclusions at times and sauntering away from any accusations towards her-- whether they be of truth or lies. These two traits can be a very dangerous disadvantage to her, especially in dire times.

Ambitions: Mysria’s goal in life is to become the greatest cobbler known to the Dwarven kind. It has been a childhood dream for the Dwarf to have her talents of shoemaking recognized in a large city, overall.

Strengths/Talents: Mysria is extremely good at hand to hand and dagger combat. It was a skill that was commonly taught in her upbringing, leaving her to learn it and make attempts at mastering the combat art. Otherwise, the Dwarf is an excellent cobbler, producing very well-made shoes with ease.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Being blind in her eye, combat can be a challenge at times, for she has a neverending blind side. At times, the Dwarf would wear a piece of shielded glass on her sleeve, as a mirror of some worth. This would allow her to have a better mirrored view of the environment around her. Otherwise, her upper radius (bone in her arm) was badly healed after a thick bread due to an escape-and-climb accident where she had fell and been knocked into a coma for several weeks. These two described weaknesses are the most prominent, however there are minor outlying ones, too.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight):

Body description:

  • Mysria stands at a sturdy height of four foot, six  inches with a complimenting muscular weight of one twenty eight pounds. The Dwarf’s body does not contain too much fat, most of her weight being from muscular gain. Due to being an active fighter, Mysria’s is quite muscular having a large amount of strength in her arms. Her figure is quite muscular, evenly proportioned and such, being far from a lanky figure in a general sense.

  • Mysria’s skin is fair, a bit pale, if you will, noted alongside a large amount of freckles that cover her face, arms, chest, legs and her shoulders. The only remarkable scars the Dwarf has is one that spans from her upper right collarbone and all the way down her side, along her ribs.

Facial/Hair/Head Description:

  • Mysria’s face is heart shaped, sculpted extrusive, or rather, prominent cheekbones and simply a capturing face-- for a Dwarven woman. The Dwarf’s chin eases into with her facial structure alongside her small, thinly shaped nose with pearlique lips.

  • Due to a previous injury, Mysria has eyes of two different colors: that of a glossy, pale blue with brilliant sapphire ringlets. However, the other eye is something the Dwarf loathes in a natural sense, for she considers her blind eye the “ugliest feature of them all.” The blind eye mentioned is a muted ashen color, not being the most pleasant of sights. It holds an absence to her expression, even if she might be joyous in a moment; it represents the deeper and darker side of the Dwarf’s personality. Shape wise, her eyes are a deep set, having large, yet soft lids noted alongside thick, coppery red eyebrows.

  • Normally pulled up into a rather disheveled, tangled ponytail, Mysria’s hair is a rather light, coppery, honey red shade. A few loose strands normally gather up into something that seems like a messy side bang, leaving the other side open, being it was shaved, anyways. It is notable that Mysria is not someone who is obsessed with beauty, for her ponytail hairstyle is lazily thrown together, tied back with a sturdy leather ringlet. On special, rare occasions, Mysria may be seen with her hair down, leaving it rather poofy and gathered, seemingly wavy and at times, shiny looking.

  • Mysria has a rather thick skinned burn scar on the left side of her face. A tribal marking of strength and failure and shame, mixed in at one.

Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin (If you need help, see our screenshot guide here): http://imgur.com/a/xPVMn (It’s something, for now. When character development continues, she may or may not take a keen liking to another style of dressing. We’ll see.~)
