Dear Clan Father Finian Goldhand

 

Hello! This is Ulthar Goldhand and I would like to be the temporary Clan father while you are vacation in the south. I hope to get more Goldhands around and also to build a Clan hall as we are one of the Elder Clans yet we do not have one. I see myself as well read and intelligent enough to not spend all of our Clan's money and I won't abuse my power. Of course I will relay info to you when you need it and represent the Clan when needed as well. That be it.

As Finian is resting in his vacation hovel, he hears a knock at the door. The first of many knocks he assumes, and gets up, half naked, to open the door. As the courier is about to give his greetings, he notices that Finian isn't wearing any pants, and screams. As the courier runs off, probably blind after what he saw, he drops the letter. Finian picks it up, and returns inside, getting himself situated before he reads it. Before Finian begins reading, he notices the Goldhand seal on the top of the letter, and assumes it has to do with the temporary Clan Father position, so, he reads on.

 

After reading it, and putting on his banna hammock, he begins to write a response letter.

 

"Dear Ulthar Goldhand,

 

After some deliberation, I have decided to name you temporary Clan Father in my absense, since you are the only Goldhand who has responded to the notice. I may not have formally sat down with you yet, due to my circumstances, but I can tell by the sincerity in your words that you are a Goldhand to be trusted. With my seal of approval, you may help benefit the clan as Clan Father. If anyone questions the legitimacy of this claim, feel free to show them this response. 

 

Do me proud, and may Grimdugan and Armakak bless you with great fortune in your endeavors in the name of Goldhand!

Because of his need for money, he slowly became a workaholic, and loved to earn minas whenever he could. He has skills in trading, barter and architecture as well as being a decent fighter.

Conan Breckenbridge comes from a semi-  typical dwarven family. His father, Remond Breckenbridge, is a Mountain dwarf lumberjack and respected member of The Grandaxe  Clan. His mother, Aednat Goldhand is a lonely women, who spends her days trapped in doors due to a "unknown" illness. 

Ever since his toddler years, Connan has been skilled with a axe, therefore giving him his name "Conan"  the Irish name for "Little warrior". In the coming years he plans on joining a clan and earning himself a reputation of a great warrior. Where he got this skill -well, where he likes to assume he got it- is from the god Dungrimm  , since his family haven`t had a great warrior in centuries, the god took pity on them, and gave them a warrior with amazing axe skill. The last great warrior was Conan`s great great grandfather who (from what his father has told him) was a amazing warrior who contributed greatly in The Great Collapse.He and his family are located in a mountain settlement in Kal`Domhain like most other mountain dwarves. Just a month ago now, Conan got his first sense of fighting in a real battle. His father had managed to persuade the higher members of the grandaxe clan to allow him to fight in a battle against humans (which took place on march 15th 2015). In the battle, Conan demonstrated amazing skill, but also nearly died many a time

Short Bio: After his Father passed away, Baldor swore to learn all about his fathers line of work and earn a name for himself as being a strong miner and blacksmith. Blador's , like most other mountain dwarves is very good at mining and can find rare ores where many others would just find stone. He can also do his own blacksmithing and straight after being down in a mine, Baldor would come  out and craft everything needed for war.

 

What are your characters ambitions? (become famous merchant, head guard, etc.): Baldor would love to be either a head miner or a travelling blacksmith, teaching everyone the best ways to smith.
