New Project For Voice-Actors/artists!

Take a look at this.

 

If you can't view it because you don't have an Instagram account, I'll explain it.

It's basically a collage of artwork of a specific character, and a narration of a quote that embodies that character.

It's not even done very well, (the voice-acting is pretty bad) but the idea itself has potential. We could do something like this as a small, regular thing on the server, and it would also attract more people to the server.

 

With the amount of people using social media nowadays, this is an excellent idea. We all know that LotC could use a media boost, anyway.

 

Here are some characters that I came up with just off the top of my head (they would still need a quote of some sort):

 

Native

The Wandering Wizard

Iblees

Aeriel

The Ascended Sages

Each Race (as a collective Race)

Petyr Brandybuck

etc.

 

We would have artists draw a sketch of that character (or we would use already existing art of that character) and have a variety of voice-actors narrate a short snippet that summarizes that character, or something that character would say.

This could also be done with places, such as the Cloud Temple, the Seven Skies, the islands of Elysium, etc.

 

Then, we would post one of these maybe once or twice a week on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, maybe even on the forums somewhere for people to see. People could request specific people, quotes, places, or artists, or voice-actors. You get the idea.

 

What do you guys think? I put this in the current project subforum because I'm pretty sure we'll be able to do it, but I want to see if anyone is interested first before we start making plans.
