Like Snow on the Wind

 

Skin like spider’s silk,

Eyes like icy crystals, a window to the soul,

Soul burning like the hearths of the North,

An intricate web woven over the ages,

Difficult to decipher, yet so easy to love,

Wandering the expansive tundras,

like snow on the wind,

 

Loving like a shield protecting its holder,

With the swiftness of the elf,

With the wit of a human,

With the dexterity of the spider,

And strong like the wolf,

 

From first sight, you overwhelm men with emotion,

Your beauty unique like a snowflake,

There are none like you, and never will be,

Driven like a blizzard and strong like ice,

Wandering through my heart and mind forevermore,

like shnow on the wind.
