The Imperative of Progression.

 

 

Mali'thill of Haelun'or,

 

The constant strive towards progression is one of our fundamental ideals. However, to my disdain, we find ourselves in a period of stagnation. There cannot be progression where stagnation resides. Thus, I Braxus Ni'leya propose a resolve to this obstacle that we all face. 

 

I strongly believe that the key to progression lies in education and adaptation. Now, as you all know, we are a vocal society which is why I believe it is essential that we retain our tradition of debate, for not only is knowledge attained through scriptures and tomes, but from conversation, observation and discussion.

 

Hence, I put forward the suggestion to host a weekly debate where two citizens are presented a topic of interest an Elven week prior to the event and will then express there arguments through means of a formal debate. I feel as if this motion would dispel the dreaded stagnation which we have fallen into.
