A Short Thesis on Proselytism

 

The Church of the Canon has existed since the founding of the human kingdom after Horen the first was granted the Scroll of Virtue by the Aenguls, however it is only now that we, as men and women of faith, face such a large challenge. That of the spreading of our most holy faith, the one true faith, to those blinded and lead astray.

We must ask ourselves how we intend to guide these people to the welcoming arms of God. One group in particular should be our foremost priority – those newer to the realm.

We must teach those new to our lands through words, not tomes nor sword. These young men and women seek adventure rather then the deep study some, such as myself, may choose. Yet this does not mean they cannot worship, this does not mean they cannot seek solice with our holy God. Swords have been raised, not by those of the clergy, but men whom state they serve God towards those who simply do not understand.

Our religion is one of peace, so let us show this to those uneducated in the one true faith. Let us sit down with men and women new to these lands and explain the Church of Canon as it was explained to us clergy through the holy scrolls and other tomes.
