The Krughan

 

 

The Krughan, the military structure of the Iron Uzg. The Krughan sets a military infrastructure, provides opportunity and discipline within the Iron Uzg.

 

Role of the Krughan

 

The Krughan will function as the main military force of the Iron Uzg, a unified and organized army. They will be charged with patrolling the lands, raiding, and maintaining wars. Every Orc would essentially be within the Krughan as every Orc is considered a warrior.

 

The Krughan will allow infrastructure to be established and to give opportunity to people to step up within Orc society. Ranks would be given on merit and diligence. This would also promote Roleplay within Orcish Society.

 

Ranks

 

Rex (Arteh - Vrogak’Gorkil)

Rex of the Iron Uzg and the Supreme Commander of the Krughan.

 

Kheshig

Kheshig are an elite military sub-division of the Krughan. They’re commanded directly and only by the Rex. They’re the most loyal and trustworthy members and act as the Rex’ Guards/Companions. Being a Kheshig is the highest form of honour to be bestowed upon an Orc.

 

Targoth (Cosmicwhaleshark - Phaedrus’Yar)

Second in command of the military.

 

Wargoth

Leaders of influential and prestigious clans, have proven their strength in leadership and take on the role of leadership in the absence of the Rex and Targoth.

 

Warchief

Leaders of Clans that have yet to prove their mettle and loyalty to the Iron Uzg, still hold considerable power and are considered valuable assets to the Iron Uzg.

 

Warboss

Leads a division of Orcs and is generally charged with carrying out the tasks allocated by the Rex/Targoth. They can lead raids and are also responsible for the defence of the Iron Uzg in the absence of superior ranks. They also manage the resources of each warrior and alerts the Wargoth on equipment shortages/needs of the warriors. Can promote Runts to Grunts. There will only ever be Two Warboss’ at one time.

 

Nob

Fierce searjeants under the Warboss’ ensure that the troops are following orders and keeps note of those not acting intelligently. The Nob is the prime warrior, a display of diligence and strength. The Nob ensures that the orders given are being executed correctly and alerts the Warboss of anyone disobeying orders. This would aid the Warboss in making decisions regarding promotions.

 

Grunt

Tested warriors, who have proven their strength and valour in battle and are full members of the Krughan. They are the main fighting force of the Krughan.

 

Runt

A new member of the Krughan, untested and on trial. A runt would have to prove his worth to the Krughan in order to become a fully inducted Grunt.

 

Logistics

 

Every Krughan Warrior is given a Horse and equipment to begin with. The Horse is named to them and from then on is their responsibility to maintain and to keep safe. A Krughan warriors equipment will vary depending on the rank that they are. Runts usually would be given lower-tier of equipment as they are yet to be tested.

 

It is the responsibility of the Warboss’ to ensure that each warrior is armed correctly, alongside their horse. If the equipment is damaged or missing then it is the Warboss’ responsibility to alert the Targoth to allocate the new equipment.

 

Each warrior is charged with keeping their equipment together and easy to access. If their equipment/horse is lost it is then their responsibility to alert the Warboss as soon as they can.
