Of Prophets and Ideals

Throughout the great histories of Humanity faith by divine right has guided the hands of great men throughout the decades. Great Prophets and pillars of wisdom and purity have sought awful deeds, their actions painted by the word of the holy creator and the scriptures left to interpret his messages. From dusty texts and the questioning of locally wisen Fathers can knowledge be extracted and interpreted by those wishing to join the fold. Prophets, who are the definition of wonders in service to god provide a backbone to the faith. Prophet’s great deeds inspired rebellious Horens, enlightened Carrion Dynasties, and the masses of the past and the present.

Godfrey Horen is one such example of the greatness of the faith. As a divine instrument  he seized control of humanity, Hanseti and Salvus, along with Seventus all bent to him. Godfrey anointed for his great deeds provided a model for his successors, though none managing to live up to it, his story is told to all Horens and Marnas alike as a retelling to remember their pride and their dynasty, despite their constant failures. His legacy indured. He inspiring the likes of multiple Horen rebellions by Sophia, Edmund, and Godfrey II Horens, whom mistook their predecessors holy service for that of their own selfish rights. Such things would be different by the Dynasty the overthrew, that of the line of Prophet Siegmund I.

After Horen V Horen left for what we know of as Aeldin Humanity once again became splintered and weak under the tutelage of William I Horen, this is when Siegmund I known by the priesthood as the “Preserver” once again united humanity. His prestige and Service to god echoed throughout the Carrion period. No doubt those of the previous Ruskan Orthodox and the current generation of Sarkoxics, including I, seek guidance and enlightenment through analyzing his life. He has inspired many Carrion emperors, kings, and counts to greatness such as those from Karl Barbanov to Emma of Woldzmir and has proved an example of how to properly honor and respect the faith. There are also those who came before all the rest who serve as the origins of humanities faith and who inspired all those after them.

Both Horen I and his son Owyn served as among the first to be touched by the light of the divine. Horen and his son preserved the Cannon in its infancy, their actions deserving a resolute respect. Their names are learned by all those who worship the creator and live by his Cannon. All men know of, or should know of the glory of those individuals whom were guided by God to shape his worship on our mortal plain.

Prophet’s great deeds inspired rebellious Horens, enlightened Carrion dynasties, and the masses of both the old days and the new. Godfrey Horen restored humanity by God’s will, while his progeny bit away at it after his demise. Siegmund Carrion provided a model for one who worships the Creator, inspiring noble and peasant alike. Horen and Owyn are known and respected by all as the historic beginnings of both the secular and religious beginnings of the human nation. God picked his servants well.
