mitto 2312 Share Posted July 3, 2015 Hail! We're working on the Vailor page on the Wiki currently. http://wiki.lordofthecraft.net/Vailor I made an interactive map of all the nations currently on Vailor. However, a lot of the pages are underdeveloped or straight up don't exist, I've had to make the link go to a racial page instead. I would hope that anyone who knows a wealth of knowledge on the history/status of a Nation to please start working on a page so that it will clear things up! Anyone who would also like to help with the page in general please feel free. Edit: A nicer map would also be appriciated. Please use the resolution of the existing image though!
AGP 3169 Share Posted July 3, 2015 "Oren" is gonna be a bit tricky here. As it stands, the capital of Oren (Felsen), Adria, all three elven regions, and the Vanir lands (northwest part labled 'Oren'), are all parts of Oren. Obviously, though, just labeling half the map "Oren" won't be very helpful for lads trying to find settlements. I suggest having each settlement with its name on the map, then have some indication that they're all a part of Oren. This map is a really good idea though. +1

I can't really do anything until I have pages for each region to link to, for now Oren and Salvus are really the only two. Edit: Also, if we do settlements it will be difficult to keep up with them. I would like something more solid that wont have to be changed as often.

Z3r05t4r 855 Share Posted July 3, 2015 For the effort alone this deserves a +2. For a first basis, it's good, definitely work on that.

Koger 9 Share Posted July 3, 2015 Felsen means rocks in German, hence the Orenian capitol is the rock of the empire. Since the name is in German, is Oren secretly run by the exiled Asterwaldian government?
Z3r05t4r 855 Share Posted July 3, 2015 Felson does not directly translate into rock in German. Fels means rock, yes. Addendum: As for plural, Felsen means rocks. But the hint is there. Aesterwaldian schemes?
