Character’s name: Erik Stalfen

Character’s gender: Male

Character’s race: Half Elf

Character’s age: 19

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): My father was a human drunk while my mother was a Elf barmaid and one night they got drunk and ended up having a one night stand. They never spoke again but about a month later she found out that she was pregnant, knowing that almost everyone would look down upon her for baring a humans child she quit her job and moved in with her parents at their farm. Her parents were not happy with the fact that she was having a humans child and so they talked her into leaving the child in an abandoned shack when it was to be born. The time came and they found an abandoned shack that would be good enough for her to bare the child. After the child was born they left it on a bloody blanket in the middle of the floor. The shack being surrounded by woods was not easily seen. A lone mercenary was roaming the forest at the time and heard the cries of a small child. Once he found the shack he went in and noticed the child was a Half Elf, The man known as Herald Stalfen who was also an orphan felt the pain of the child, he also thought no child should be brought into the world and be left to die so he took the child and raised him as his own.He took the child back to where he lived in Petrus. His fellow Mercenaries thought him to be crazy but didn't argue as it would just end in conflict. Growing up Erik had no friends so he mostly trained with Herald in the art of sword fighting. Herald tried training him with bows and took him out to hunt but he was never very successful and gave up on using bows. Since he didn't use bows it gave him more time to work on his Sword techniques. Erik ended up becoming an excellent swordsman, one of the best in his band of mercenaries but was always beaten by A Human with the name of Lance Prin, since Erik was raised humble and calm he never let Lance get the best of him. His group of mercenaries ended up leaving the continent of Athera when it began to flood. After leaving Athera they went to Vailor but were not sure where to go. They found a map and debated where to go, they figured the Human Capital of Felsen wold be a safe choice to make it big in the world. The group quickly ended up getting a reputation since they traveled with a Half Elf but since they always completed their jobs with ease they weren't completely hated. Erik decided that he would leave his fathers group of mercenaries so they could get more jobs and receive the recognition that they deserved. Luckily Erik found a group of mercenaries known as the Iron Suns and managed to convince a member of the group known as Helbrecht Ladimore to let him join. At first he was quite reluctant and asked him what he had to offer so Erik showed him his techniques with a sword and was quickly accepted but was given the nickname of  the "No Shot Elf" due to his inability of using a bow.

Personality Traits: Calm, curious, and Hard Working

Ambitions: To start his own group of mercenaries and improve his swordsman skills.

Strengths/Talents: An excellent Sword Fighter.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Terrible at hunting and using bows.
