What’s the rule you agree with the most?: Honestly, I really like all the RP rules. I have been on servers with basically none, and the meta and power playing was so bad. I mostly like the needing to try and stay in character.

 

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?: I can’t really think of any, but if any come up I'll be sure to ask about them.

 

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I was searching online for a good RP server for me and my pals to play one and stumbled onto Lord of the Craft.

What is roleplaying?: RPing is taking on a character’s personality, traits and habits and playing as them with others.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using out of character knowledge in character, usually to benefit you and your character.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is basically taking control of another person’s character or making your character unreasonably powerful (this is also called god moding).

 

In-Character Information.

 

Character’s name: Lanavia Dreathen

Biography:

Lanavia, or Navi, was born in 1388 in Normandor. She was the youngest child in her family, having a sister and a brother older than her. Her family lived normal lives as hunters and lumber-elves until the plague came. Around 1392 her mother fell ill and died. After leaving Asulon and going to Anthos, they lived in Leumalin near Lenniel. Her father packed them up and moved them out at the first signs of Anthos falling, and thus they ended up in Athera.

While in Athera, her family again becomes smaller. Her sister leaves around 1477 to run off with a lover, and then in 1490 her brother gets married and leaves. At that point Navi was alone to take care of her father, Synir, who had begun to grow ill over the last twenty years. She wrote her siblings often, and tried to bring the family back together while supporting herself and her father with her hunting. When she and her father had to flee Athera, she not only lost contact with her siblings, but lost trace of her father. Now in Vailor, she has struggled to try and find out what happened to him, and to live a normal life.

She makes due in Laureh’lin, though not really having a home or name for herself. Through all of the chaos of her short life, Navi remains upbeat and bright. She knows that at her age she has a long life ahead of her, and she wants to make sure, for the sake of her family as the last Dreathen, that she lives it to the fullest she can.

Personality Traits: Navi is bright, upbeat, friendly and soft spoken. She was the youngest of her siblings and was often pushed around, which lead her to have a timid personality – though she will snap if she feels someone is taking advantage of her kind heart.

 

Ambitions:

She wants to find a place to call home, and to build a community of friends to fill the empty place in her life where her family had once been. She is a marksmen by trade, and hopes to make a name for herself as one.

Strengths/Talents: She is great with the bow and with animals. Her soft voice makes her easy to listen to and be around. She has some first aid training, and basic survival skills.

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities:

She has a fear of deep water, and is very big hearted. She puts others before herself, and often gets taken advantage of. Navi also has some type of depression, though it is mild. She is also scared orcs. She was also injured as a child and now suffers a weak left ankle, though it rarely gets in her way; it does flare up some times and causes her mild pain.

 

Appearance:

Navi is short, standing just barely over five feet tall. She has long deep crimson hair and bright green eyes. Her skin is sun kissed due to long hours outdoors. She has a few tribal tattoos on her arms and legs, though they can’t be seen with her armor on (I will describe them in game if they come up).
