Guild Of The PeaceKeeper

Peace is such a nice thing, no war, no fighting, no struggle, knowing that everything is going the way it is supposed to go. But we can never have peace with our own kin fighting.

The guild of the PeaceKeeper, Is a order in which 5 Dwarves are selected to keep the peace between two sides of an argument. They attend every meeting of the council. Four of the Dwarf will be standing beside one of the clan fathers during the meetings, but the leader of the guild, FatherPeace, will be at the entry of the room in which the Dwarven leaders are having the meeting in.

Before a Dwarf can become a Peacekeeper he/she must take an oath of peace. The oath is:

“Oy, _____ Do dec’ar dat oy wil protect da peace,

if oy se’e truble oy wil cal ta moy bretheren,

an da mata wil be touken car of.

Oy, _____ Do dec’ar ta nut couse truble,

an dat da penaltie of braken dis oath be death.

Oy tak deas vows an swer dat peace wil rain,

in da house of Yemaker”

This Oath is the thing that makes a PeaceKeeper a PeaceKeeper, and if a PeaceKeeper does not respect elders, kin fathers, the king, or one another, they are sentenced to immediate death.

But respect does not mean letting unrighteous things pass. If a dwarf does wrong to another it will be dealt with accordingly. If a wronging is really bad he/she may be put to death.
