Baron Arstan Bedell dispatches a bird to the Royal Capital of Felsen, meant for the eyes of the King himself. It is written on clean parchment in a firm hand, stamped with a red -and-gold wax seal and the black unicorn sigil of House Bedell.

 

 

"To His Majesty, King Olivier I Ashford de Savoie, King of Oren, Lord of Men and Elves,

 

With the outbreak of this disgraceful motley of rebel banners called against the crown of Oren, I do hereby declare resolute loyalty to the crown in the face of the adversity that these treasonous dogs have wrought across the realm. Roseden and her levy pledge their unfaltering support to the war effort, and let it be known that this so-called Ducal Coalition shall never be endorsed by any true red-blooded son of Kaedrin. Their cloak-and-dagger whimsies, left unchecked, would have brought ruin upon the realm, so let us put an end to this once and for all, with sword and lance.

 

Oaths were sworn, and they shall be upheld in earnest - my men clamor for the righteous judgement of these traitors.
