Wolf Pets Can't Be Damaged

Nature of the bug: In certain regions, it is impossible to damage animals and pets. This includes wolves. If someone with a wolf following them punches you in such a region, the wolf will proceed to attack you. You cannot fight back because the region protects them from damage, and so you are screwed and will die. Wolves do a lot of damage and this is pretty powerful in Pvp.

First occurrence: (Providing an exact time helps us locate the error messages, which can help in fixing the bug) Just now when someone with a wolf memed me.

Describe exactly all the actions you took leading up to the bug: Got punched by someone with a wolf.

What messages are/aren't you getting that you would/wouldn't get normally: (in the event of a crash, please also provide the error log) "Hey! Sorry, but you can't harm that here."

 

Frequency of occurrence: Every time someone with a wolf punches me or if I punch someone with a wolf.

 

Are you able to reproduce the bug: Yeah.

This is a function in a region, not a bug. Region owners can set it so animals may not be harmed inside of their region, so anyone who's not part of the region doesn't have access to harming said animals inside said region.

 

Whilst still pointing this out, I agree it needs to be changed so there needs to be something where wolves/horses can be harmed during fights etc, even when inside someone else's region, or make it a rule that you have to disable animal protection inside  your region before a fight happens in it, since it's pretty dumb that you can't defend yourself from a rabid wolf or shoot down someone's horse.

I'm aware that it's not a bug, but it's a technical issue that needed raising so I posted it here.

Still does happen to horses. They're an animal just like wolves, cows, pigs or chickens under the region's recognition, and they can't be harmed.
