Fumble and his old father Bolo, along with their annoying cousin Bungo, slowly make their journey down Willowwater Way, giving the deed of Willow End over to the sheriff's office for distribution. They load a cart up with ales, ciders, and foods, leading their pony to Doc's Docks and boarding the Barrel Boat, a dusty old thing but a relic from the escape of Lenfarthing. They push off from shore, waving to their few close friends who are still alive and set off gliding through the waves. Their destination, the Willow Family reunion on the paradise island where Fumble and Bolo spent many father-son vacations. Fumble leaves a note,

"Dear Goodborough,

We are going to be gone a very long time, perhaps forever if we decide to endure our family's horrible jokes. I give the title of Thane to Andwise for his service in the past month or so (with the struggle against the sky gods). I pray that you all find a new home and if you ever need our help, just drop a note in a bottle into the sea.

Goodbye and thanks for the fun times,

Fumble

Bolo

Bungo

Andwise wishes Fumble and his family would stay a bit but doesn't blame them for leaving, he continues to send Fumble letters about his lessons to become the Elder. He takes up the title of Thane and goes to approach the Grand King Skippy.

((Best of luck to you, you'll be missed and you will always be welcome back. I'm sure that the Halflings won't be the same without you.))
