How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? My friend Steve showed my friends and I this server and said we should apply. What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of stepping into another person's shoes and acting out a scenario as if you were them. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when your character takes advantage of information, that they are not supposed to know. ie. You're in a skype call with a friend in a town 5 miles away and he alerts you a battle. What is powergaming?: Powergaming is exerting skills and god-like power impossible to attribute to your character, beyond what they are capable to do. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Ysolda-Aria Character’s gender: Female Character’s race: Wood Elf Character’s age: 23 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Ysolda-Aria Endoriell was born and raised in the outskirts of the Elven city of Laurelin to a comfortable life. Her mother, Larissa, father. Savil, and brother, Fen, lived on a home that touched the edge of the forest. She often found herself wandering throughout the dense formation of trees. There she taught herself valuable skills. She learned how to fashion herself a bow on the spot and how to quickly clamber up trees to get a height advantage. She was so efficient with a longbow that she could put an arrow between the eyes of a target, quite the distance away. Ysolda, like many wood elves, attuned herself with the forest. She familiarized herself with most of the plants of the forests, learning which ones heal, those that are lethal, and plants that are edible. Thus, she could spend several weeks out on her own in the forest, living off the land. She was also quite the alchemist... Ysolda created her own poison with her knowledge, in which she tainted her arrows and used to devastating effect. This poison had the ability to paralyze and kill within moments. On top of that she experimented in mixing several ingredients to create potions that did had various different effects. At the age of 21, Ysolda-Aria went off on her pilgrimage that all youngsters in the Endoriell Clan have to undertake. For a whole year they are sent off, on a trip to find anything of significance, specifically a relic from the days of Malin. Luckily, her skills that she picked up from her youth proved to come in handy as they saved her life on multiple occasions. A few months into the pilgrimage, she had come across an order of Rangers deep within the the forest. She wasn't the one who sought them out however. The Rangers had been observing her movements ever since she entered the forest. Now they approached her with an offer to join their order. As an initiate she immediately fit into the brotherhood of Rangers. Ysolda even had some skills to teach to the Grand Masters of the brotherhood. She had befriended everyone at the hideout. However she had the most in common with one of the elders. His name was Varen and he had devoted his life to Malin. Ysolda was quite fond of him and explained how she was on a quest to find any relic of Malin. She learned that Varen was nearing the end of his life, as he had lived for several centuries. Despite this Varen had come into contact with any Malin-age relics. Upon hearing this, Ysolda vowed that she would find any remnant from those ancient days and bring them back to Varen. He bowed and instantly into the night, Ysolda was off.
