How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? Through my friend, he told me about it and said he was going to apply. So I thought I might also give the server a go.

 

Definitions

 

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying as the word suggests, playing the role of a character. It is when you play in the shoes of a character, you're immersed in their life and act accordingly. 

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the act of bringing out-of-character knowledge to your in-game character. An example of this would be; If I out-of-character knew a war would happen between the orcs and the elves. I transfer that knowledge to my character despite them not finding out IC.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is forcing your RP actions upon others, cases like this are most commonly found in combat. And example would be, *Blocks attack with sword and stabs forwards piercing the heart. The problem with that RP situation was I didn't let whoever I was RPing with react to me trying to stab him, I myself just went along with it.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Thallor Skysedge

Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: Dwarf

Character’s age: 48

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Born and raised in Karik, Thallor was an up-beat and optimistic dwarf, and small, for a dwarf that is. He loved his home, friends and family and took pride in his father who was a Dwarven warrior. He was liked at school and had many friends, teachers and students alike, he always kept up with his education. Once Grand King Omithiel Strongbow stepped down to Grand King Thorin Grandaxe, he was age seven and Thallor had been practising his fighting skills with his father every day in ambition of his fathers tales in the battle at Storm's Crossing.  Thallor was young, but he knew his father wasn't just having fun with him, he wanted him to become a warrior. It was by the time he was fifteen his family and school began to see his talent with an axe, and greatly praised him for it, he was also confused, his father didn't praise him but instead looked concerned, worried. It was then at supper when his father came out to his family and told them he would be leaving by sunrise, to join the Dwarven faction, The new Dawn. Thallor had no emotion, he didn't know what to say, he store at his meal as he could hear the echoes of his family arguing about his fathers leave. He felt ill, and slowly trod to his bed his face blank in grief.

He woke up the next morning having forgotten the events of the previous night and prompted to head to the kitchen as he saw his mother crying on the counter he picked up a small note from the table, "I want you to become a warrior, Thallor. I had to leave, you may not understand now. But when you grow; it will unravel before your eyes like a book. -Father." as the events came back to him he clutched the note to his heart and took a deep breath, promising himself he would train until he was old enough to leave for himself. Everyday he trained with his battleaxe, and his mother slowly became worse and worse without his father. He knew he would leave some day too, and it would leave strain on his mother; but he felt he had no choice. Time had come and it was nearly time to leave, he had a reputation as the greatest fighter among his friends, but he was not the innocent dwarf he once was; he was very well prepared for the upcoming pain of the outside world. And had so he left his mother and his home, to enlist with the dwarvern military. Several years later after enlisting in the military they went to defeat the New Dawn, and they succeeded. Later that week his mother commited suicide from greif, he had no more family. Or maybe... he did. He didn't know if his father survived, but he packed up and left the military, in search of him. Hoping he was alive.

Personality Traits: Easy going, tough spirit, ambitious.

Ambitions: Become a high ranked dwarven warrior, find his father.

Strengths/Talents: Skilled with an axe, honest.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Overly merciful, slow from stubby body.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight):

Thallor is a short dwarf, but heavy. He has a chestnut brown beard, and short hair reaching to his neck. His beard grown down to his stomach. He is fairly plump and has night black eyes with a chubby face.
