Character’s name: Gregory Therving

Character’s gender: Male

Character’s race: Human

Character’s age: 21

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

    Gregory is one of the grandchildren of Throdo Therving. He grew up under the wing of his grandfather, tagging along on his various merchanting adventures. One morning, Throdo was selling wares in Petrus of Athera and ten year old Gregory was wandering about the city. He came upon a Mass, where two nobles, a naked man and a naked woman, were being married. “How strange!” he exclaimed. There was another man there, who Throdo said was the High Pontiff, scolding and forcing the two nobles to marry. What a brave man,  to be standing up to nobles like that! Greg knew that his family had been landed once, and that he would never have dared to stand up to his grandfather! From that day forth he had gained a strong admiration for the clergy.

    The world was changing fast, everyone had been loaded onto ships. A massive worm was smashing through the lands and his grandfather was talking of how they would find a new land, like before. The ships pushed off from the docks and cut through the waves. The ships had landed in Vailor after a stormy voyage; Throdo and Gregory disembarked and soon found themselves in Brelus, the capital of the Duchy of Adria. During their stay in Brelus, Gregory aided his grandfather in setting up the Therving-Denims Travel Company (fast-travels) and learned stories of wars from soldiers that they met. The quiet peace of the new land did not settle well however, soon war had erupted with Hugues Sarkozic rising up against the idle King Olivier. Throdo and Gregory lingered about Brelus, in the beginning of the war morale was high and Adria was expected to win. But before long, Hugues became Hugues the Headless and the Savoyards employed half the world to destroy the rebellious duchy. Gregory fled at the end of the war to the crusader city of Luciensport where he now finds himself trying to find work with the blade, of which he only used once in the Battle of Brelus, the first battle of the war. He took a liking to ale during his voyage to the holy land, mingling with crusaders.

Personality Traits: Happy, loves food and drink. He’s very headstrong and overconfident, having killed someone in the battle of Brelus.

Ambitions: To become a knight of the Faith, to improve his combat skills, and to become known.

Strengths/Talents: His wit, learned from his grandfather, and his positivity.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Overconfidence, inexperience, and love for ale. .

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): 6 feet, 200 pounds. Dark hair and green eyes. He’s outfitted with an old set of chainmail armor, the helm painted yellow and red.
