What is roleplaying?: Acting out a character, making decisions based upon your character, rather than how you would act.

What is metagaming?: Using information you have gained while OOC, when you are IC

What is powergaming?: Sacrificing RP and the greater story to achieve something. This reduces the enjoyment of the game for others by limiting the actions they can take. Emoting everything as an attempt ensures there is no powergaming.

Character’s age:19

Biography: As the son of a talented blacksmith, Eli grew up learning to work the forge, and believes that he will eventually surpass his father's skill. Eli's family live in the Republic of Salvus, so he is friendly with all races apart from orcs, which he has a deep-seated distrust for. Eli hides this moderately well, but always remembers his parents warning about the war-like nature of orcs. 

Eli doesn't know why his family don't live in The Grand Kingdom of Urguan, with their relatives, but both his parents look upset when he mentions it, so he knows it must have been something major. He remembers his old home in Athera, and how his father would work for long hours at the forge to keep up with the need for armour and weapon repairs and improvements during the Orc-Dwarf war. He is glad his father could avoid most of the fighting. Eli is unusually thin for a dwarf, which has occasionally resulted in ridicule from other's of his race. Even when working hard at his father's forge, he never seemed to gain much muscle. As a result of this, and his recent upbringing in a multi-racial society, he can feel uncomfortable around dwarves he doesn't know..

Personality Traits: Intelligent, proud, honest, arrogant, greedy, quick tempered, but quick to forgive

Ambitions: Become a renowned blacksmith, prove his worth to other Dwarves

Strengths/Talents: Quick learner, naturally gifted at smithing and mining, can teach others well.

Weaknesses/Inabilities:Fear of horses(One kicked him when he was a child and he almost died), weak swimmer, struggles to admit when wrong

Appearance:Height 4”11, weight 110lbs. Light skin, light brown hair, short beard.
