An Arrival

Only a few short years ago, many would likely remember the sudden appearance of a few carts. These carts were beautifully crafted, carved from dark oak, and fitted with simple wheels. The steeds that had pulled these carts were powerful, bred for long distances and carrying heavy loads. These carts and their inhabitants, Mali'aheral of obvious origin, had disappeared nearly as quickly as they appeared. But with the burning of the ashen sky, and disappearance of the plague, these carts have once more returned, pulled by the same powerful steeds. They rumbled softly down the bridge leading to the gates of the Citadel, the great capitol of Haelun'or. Seen long before they are heard, the four carts and their passengers pull up before the gates, before turning in a simply progression. Eventually they come to a stop in the form of a semi-circle before the gates. Standing at the cart nearest to the gate, a Mali'aheral with long silver hair, and simple traveling gear steps down. To any who would recognize a certain Tinuvriel within the city, this Mali'aheral, and those others within the procession would share a resemblance to him.

 

The simply-garbed Mali'aheral approaches the gates. At his side hangs a broadsword within a sheath. Draped across his back is a longbow of beautiful-make, carved from dark oak, similar to the carts and wagons. The many horses who had pulled the carts and wagons remain still, peering about from time to time, studying the environment before them. The other Mali'aheral, a total of nine in all, including the silver-haired Mali who currently approaches the gates, all group together, standing between the many wagons. As the silver-haired Mali'aheral approaches the gates, he comes to a stop twenty paces before them. Bringing his hands together behind his back, he stands before the gates, his gray-gaze scanning across the walls and behind the gates, making eye contact with any who would present themselves before him. 

 

Hanging above the lead wagon, the same symbol from the past can be seen, a black banner flying proudly.

 

 

 

To anyone wondering, this is the introduction of several new players to the Mali'aheral playerbase. To those of you who have agreed to play any of these characters, please feel free to make a post on how your character will respond here. If you would like to play one of these characters, please throw me a PM, and you will gladly be responded to. Anyone within the city who would like to interact with us, it would be appreciated.
