*You are walking into Malinor, you see a scroll on the board and you start reading it*

Hello fellow Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, Humans, and Ascended. I have written this scroll containing problems about our military. It's that... When i was into Laurelin, there aren't ANY gods guarding the gates. i only see about 6 guards, total. The four guardians of the High Princess/Prince. and two, ONLY TWO Wardens. I think we need a new military system that people would be interested in joining. The wardens are kind of... Old, i guess you can say. But seriously. the Oren guard is AMAZING. Elves... Not so much.

"Laughs about the amazing oren guards."((Honestly more is not better and the wardens are not the only defense they have.Ask the guy in black robes and his friend who were swarmed by a nest of angry druids yesterday.))

12 is alot considering they don't leave the city but rarely. Also they are not the military or controlled by them. Now the wardens on the other hand if you have an issue with them then try and gain an audience with the elven princes. I personally think every nations guards and army should be seperate from each other.Leaders of armies should have no domestic power. That is like saying a state trooper can't arrest an army general for drunk driving.

I have talk to native about this since we have the black hand and the undead. They dont even read there message board! So I say Native tell them to come to Laurelin or they will be disbanded. Just my opinion.

Aye, it's an issue with those who are recruited, unfortunately patience isn't abundant in some settlers. The Oren guards might be mnay but, that's because they have alot to deal with. We're a tranquil race. I agree with you that there should be more activity but it doesn't happen over night.

( an influx of players will come soon, and many more warden applications will likely happen. Warden-Only events will happen soon aswell, I've just been very busy keeping ALL of Malinor happy and haven't had the moment to really focus directly on Wardens. )

Have you SEEN the warden camp?..

OOC: I have seen the camp and I do like it. But the funny thing is the druids, when in swarms actually do something to the undead....... I made one of them blow themselves up (yeah i know bad aim on his part XD) And when the druids are together really nothing can win (truth) Im not a fighter but I just see a whole lot of stuff going down and knowng I cant do anything but tell Native or wait for a royal guard or warden to come around the corner.

The four guardians of the High Princess/Prince.

~Tempir~

i am suprised you see four thats the most i could gather since all 7 of us got our job. most arent around alot, or are slandering around doing nothing. if you could give me their names, that would help alot. (( i am noting when they are on and how long cuz there never on, unless 2 others than me))

The Wardens are actually in great numbers and we are still growing and a guess we have about between 25-30 Wardens and initiates. some reasons that you may not have seen us is that our leaders are still very busy since we moved bases and have not been able to give us duties though some of us do some. As well as OOC: ((timezones I have to be on about 3am and later to be on when the majority of the wardens and our leaders are on so it may just be timezone problems)). Also there are some problems because of plugins before we could type a password and get to guard places with the new locking plugin we have to have names on signs. And that dosent work so well the front gate is locked by native so no wardens can get in without native there to open it to do gate dutie and when it is accdently left open we have people close it them selves. I have had the problem when a citizen locked me inside the gate and ran off so there are some complications. but the fact that you haven't seen us is that with moving base we are gathering resourses for our base and this takes up a lot of time but if you wont to see us more I am sure our senior officers would be glad if you donated resourses. Once we have gotten ready then hopfully you will see more of us around and I am sorry for any problems that this cuases. also as a side note doing guard duty isn't the most funnist thing in the world and I have done several IRL hours of it. also we dont get payed any fighting or guarding is voulantered work and while most people say thanks it isn't nice when you have people complain when they have to talk to a guard to get entry and others that say we dont do enough work. I hope this has been helpfull in letting you know why we arent around.

Honestly, the "amazing" Oren security can get rather annoying. They sometimes over-react about things that are small and probably unrelated by sending you into jail, and they are bombarded by the general population about opening the gates to Al'khazar. Don't get me wrong, their fine warriors, but I think it's THEM that need a little work, in my opinion.

The wardens are great dude. They are strong in numbers and extremely organized. The reason you don't see them walking around Laurelin is because they are located in the sister city. We have 4 rule boards, like 5 different ranks, and we always have at least 2 people online. We come at the slightest requirement and are extremely loyal. Just because we don't have a gate to guard doesn't mean we need to have one. Laurelin is fairly safe and not at war with anyone.

P.S. Oren guards suck, they can't handle the simple job of a gate operator

P.S.S Check out the warden's base, you'll eat your words.

P.S.S.S Sorry I overused extremely alot

P.S.S.S.S I like the letter s

P.S.S.S.S.S The letter of the day is: S!

P.S.S.S.S.S.S goodbye.

OOC: I am currently not a member of the game so I do not know the full extent of your military issues, but during the Roman Empire the leader of the towns led their own armies to battle and defended themselves and what you guys sound like your doing to taking volunteers which are already spread thin throughout the realm and calling them one army. My advise would be to force your citizens into joining a town militia and only have them fight when your town is being raided. the few volunteers that you might get from your town you place them simply as patrols to warn of an attack and to call the militia. You don't need a whole legion guarding the walls just one or two people to sounds the alarm. As for your main army as you have been using as a guard should be used as a administer of the militia during peace and used to conquer during war.

I am sorry that I spoke out of turn and I will rewrite this if it makes no sense
