[Denied] Application #4

Hi once again my name is Finn and I am 14 years of age. My characters name is Ven, a Human Highlander. He was born and raised in a beaten down village miles from Oren. He has no specific living quarters seeing as he is never staying in one place for more than one night. He was recently in a large battle against un-humanly creatures. This battle consisted of humans and orcs. The humans were outnumbered by at least 30%. But the battle lasted for days. When the dust cleared there were only 10 humans left, and at least 42 orcs. Ven was one of those humans.

The remaining humans had no choice but to run. So that's what they did. They ran. They have continued to run for the past 2 years. But so far this year there has been no trace of the orcs. So the humans parted ways thinking their 2 and a half year battle was over, and they started their own journeys. That brings us to today when Ven's journey ends and his new adventure begins.

Definition of Roleplaying: roleplaying is taking on the form of a new character and personality in a virtual world.

Definition of Metagaming: metagaming is when you have your character react to a piece of information that your character could not possibly know. Like lets say you were in  a dungeon fighting a dragon then suddenly one of the other players asks for help in chat and you decide to stop fighting the dragon and run to aid that player. Your player does not have some sort of HUD that all the chat messages pop up on so they would have no way of knowing that that player needed help.

Definition of Powergaming: powergaming refers to the word "overpowered" I'm  sure you've heard of it. In the context of powergaming it means that you are making your character do things that cannot be normally done. Like killing 10 people with one punch or being stomped on by a dragon and not dying. Or playing like you are god. Powergaming is having your character doing things that "don't give either side time to react"- excerpt from the wiki

His personality traits, Ven is heroic. Very, heroic. He has put his life before others many a time. In this large battle against un-humanly creatures he lost many friends that he could not save. That battle hardened him to the core. He has seen many deaths but has taken just as many in return... His ambitions are to continue to help the innocent and slay the evil that plagues this world. 

His strengths/talents include being proficient in hiding himself in the wild, because he was running and hiding from orcs for 2 years. His weaknesses/inabilities he has trouble seeing the evil in people because he is so tired of looking for it. he is battle hardened and has trouble showing his emotions.

Appearance: He has brown scraggly hair a small beard, green eyes and a battle scar across his left cheek he is 5" 11 and weighs 178 lbs. He has an athletic build but is not ripped.
