What is roleplaying?:  The act of placing yourself in the mindset and setting of another sentient being and creating a story with a compilation of other characters.

What is metagaming?: The act of using information not realistically acquired, for example; Knowing there is a surprise attack coming because my friend on Teamspeak is 2 miles away from me and is behind them.  

What is power gaming?: The act of exerting skills and god-like power impossible to attribute to your character, beyond their training and skill level.

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Calypso

Character’s gender: Female

Character’s race: Dark Elf

Character’s age: 75

 

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

 

Calypso was born in Anthos, near the city of New Abresi. She and her father was all that was left. Her mother died while giving birth to her. Abresi or New Abresi, was a difficult place to bring up a little girl. She would see the bandits stopping the travelers to loot them. From a young age she sought out the good in the world. She may have been a Dark Elf, but had a pure of light soul. She wanted to bring order into the realm, she wanted peace for everyone. She was strict on her opinion of family. As Dark Elves tend to be, she was close to her father, and hated seeing anyone mistreat their parents.

     Calypso is still a rather young elf at the age of 75. She has much of her life ahead of her. She still has not sought out the talents or skills hidden within her, but plans to in the near future. After the death of her father, she is planning on living a life in Luminaire where she may find refuge in the large city. She plans on making friends and honing her combat skills to protect herself from the evil in the realms. What awaits next is up to Calypso.

 

Personality Traits: Family Oriented, Swift, Gentle, Elegant.

Ambitions: To be herself in a world that is constantly trying to make her something or someone she is not.

Strengths/Talents: Very fit, swift, can be sneaky, self-control, intelligent, persistent.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Is unskilled with heavy weapons and armor. Suffers from an anxiety disorder.

6'5", 110lbs, white hair, piercing eyes.
