An Open Invitation to Vailor

Notices printed upon a fine, heavy parchment are tacked to the notice boards of all of the major urban centers. Letters bearing the same information are delivered to all the nobility of Vailor, and to the leaders of each applicable guild and order.

To all the hunters, warriors, and would-be heroes of Vailor,

 

The Praxic Covenant would like to extend to you an opportunity to prove yourselves in the first ever Great Hunt.

 

Over the course of several elven weeks, participants will be tasked with gathering as many trophies as they can from a long list of the most dangerous monsters, beasts, and individuals Vailor has to offer. They will be both predator and prey, facing peril not only from their tasks, but their ruthless and equally as fearsome competitors. Only one may claim the title of Huntmaster, and the reward that goes with it, directly from the patron of courage Himself.

 

To register for the Hunt, address a letter to the Praxic Covenant((Forum PM myself, Sigmar)) with your name, race, and experience so that it may be logged in our records of participation.

 

The Great Hunt will be carried out as follows:

 

After the ignition of the bonfire at the opening ceremony, contestants will have three elven weeks to earn as many trophy points as possible. Hunters will be given the list of targets, as well as the point value for each. Throughout the course of the competition, specialty targets may become available, which will be far more challenging but will offer far greater point values as well as rewards.

 

Hunters must obtain proof of their kill. ((named MC items given by ET for the kills when they are involved, screenshots when concerning a player))

 

Governments, guilds, and individuals who would like to add a monster, beast, or individual to the list of targets for participating hunters must contact the Praxic Covenant (pm myself, Sigmar, on the forums) detailing the intended target and providing enough information so that an appropriate point value may be created for the kill. A bounty must be paid to the Covenant, which will then be paid to the hunter that completes the kill.
