What is roleplaying?: When you act out a character's role efficiently and stay in that role for the remainder of the time you are there / at that place / conferring with said person

What is metagaming?: When you come out of role and tell another character information you should not know when you are in role as your character e.g someone calling you your real name, say Jack, instead of your in game name / roleplay name

What is powergaming?: When a person skips vital parts of roleplay / forces actions onto another player, if the player were wearing heavy armour, they would not instantly be sliced in half if the other said "slices instantly in half"

Character’s name: Tauen Feulinrir

Character’s sex: Female

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Tauen was a young elf, with a very wise family. Her father, Gaelol, had reached the age of 970 and so was an ancient, he still strived for greatness even with his age, he was a very lucky elf to have lived this long and so continued to research for the greater good of the high elves. Tauens' mother, Adeilia, was also becoming of an ancient age (967), she also strived to finish the greatest research along with Gaelol. Their research was a devotion to the Dread Knights and the Blood Mages, the public information was that the Blood Mages would enslave the Dread Knights if they won a brutal fight against them, sealing their body and soul within the armour. Gaelol and Adeilia were not researching why they did this, but how their dark magic worked and so often Tauen would find herself helping them on late nights getting them resources to continue their research, however this would only entail them into a bloody ending indeed.

Edit- 3 months after a terribly large amount of heavy leather bound books had been passed back and forth from the study to Tauens' parents via herself, there came a call from Adeilia; "go clean up the study Tauen would you? its getting awfully full as of late". Tauen obliged and started to climb up the glistening marble steps until there came a metal tapping at the door, Tauen thought about ignoring but then stalked across to the front of the house and opened the door. Three Blood Mages and Dread Knights stood in the doorframe. Tauen slammed the door shut and ran up to the saftey of her room, shouting to her parents as she ran; "The mages are here! they've brought their knights too! c'mon move!", but, it was a little too late, the mages and knights burst forth into their house and hurled dark fireballs into the front portion of the house, the knights spread out and searched for her parents while Tauen was hiding out in her room, she bolted the door and awaited their presence, but no one came. She heard the dragging of heavy metal and immediately fled, leaving her parents to their fate, they were far past her saviour now.

After Tauen had escaped her house with an inch of her life, she had collapsed in the High Elves courtyard, but when she awoke, she found herself on a furry beige sofa, she looked around and saw her neighbour, Daelen, preparing breakfast and some water. He had brought it over and explained the situation," I heard the commotion, yes, your parents suffered for their curiosity, so I couldn't leave you out there. I called the guards, they are dealing harsh punishment to the mages and knights as we speak, you must not utter words of your research again, for it piqued the mages and knights attention and so called upon them to take action, either dont do it at all or keep it very quiet. Curiosity killed the cat as they say". Tauen had ate the breakfast and drank the water, she felt more stable and so she went to confront Daelen but he held up a hand."Do not come to me for answers, they lie in the back of your mind, dormant, look to yourself and you will find the answer Tauen." She nodded and proceeded to gather what belongings she had fled with, she headed to the door but Daelen called to her before she left."Tauen, you should head to Vailor, make a fresh new start, you can always keep in touch with me when needs be you know", Tauen nodded in agreement, with no words left to speak, she hugged Daelen and headed out to Vailor, she was going to get vengeance, whether it was with or without someone by her side.

After days of walking without end, Tauen had finally reached Haelun'or, the High Elves sanctuary of Vailor, she had heard that this would be the perfect settlement from Daelen. She hunkered down in the courtyard and awaited a fellow High Elf to see her and allow her a house, she was there for 2 hours staring at the beatiful decorations until someone came along, they looked at her, nodded and gestured for her to come along, she followed off to her new life in Vailor.

Personality Traits: Calm and collected though it's not impossible to tip her off, does not despise halflings as they can be pure if proved

Edit- Ambitions: To avenge her parents' death by learning more about the Blood Mages & Dread Knights, in secret of course

Edit- Strengths/Talents: She has an appetite to learn magic when she grows older, wide span of science knowledge (from her parents research)
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Distant from people, Quiet, Semi-hard to entertain
