Bio

Raised within the walls of Montfort he was tutored by his uncle Victor Sarkozic in the scholarly arts; history, philosophy, and theology. Biding his time squiring under a multitude of Savoyard Knights, his brother enacting a self imposed exile the priesthood was the last thing on his mind as he danced away his younger years. It was only with the resettling of Adria within Vailor that sparked his responsible side.

At the behest of his younger cousin Hugo he opted for a clerical career, serving under Sixtus III while also watching over his family as Court Chaplain to Adria. During his service, he ascended to the Synod and rose above his colleagues to become Bishop of Adria. Over the course of his long tenure within the Sarkozic Duchy he observed the full extent of the Duke’s War, barely escaping the Redmark Massacre and barely surviving the collapse of his own church at the hands of the Loyalists during the Sack of Brelus, in which the majority of his features were severely burned. Both his right hand, Father Fiddle, and Hugues’ son Tobias were crushed underneath the scorched debris, while he himself was dragged from the premise by the pious twins of Adrian de Bar and Leon de Amaury. Edmond swiftly after recovering from his wounds, sought to preserve the last of his family, hiding Hugo's last son in the Outremer along with Edmond Cross, another son orphaned in the brutal killings . In the Outremer he sought purpose in the form of the Crusades lead by the new Pontiff, Daniel II.

Within the encampments set up in the Outremer Edmond made fast friends in Baldwin de Bar and the rest of the Lotharingians, as well as the new Pontiff whom had been elected after Sixtus III's assassination. Together with the Canonist soldiery they established the Pontifical State of Visiga, a seat that would provide the Church with the independance it needed to survive the following years in relative peace, far from the unstable mainland.

Evidently ascending to the Pontificate via his unanimous election upon Daniel II's passing, he took up the name Everard as his Papal Name. As Everard, Edmond has set about continuing the conversion of the Elves and the construction of Luciensport, as well as declaring John Frederick Horen Emperor after the death of the last Ashford King. He currently toils over his tasks, a never ending responsibility given to him by the grace of GOD.
