How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I googled a roleplay server because I thought it would be dope and my friend actually found this so here I am.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is where you live as your character.

What is metagaming?: It is the use of out of character knowledge to benefit your in-game character.

What is powergaming?:  The action of roleplay interaction without giving the other player a chance at the roleplay.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server  lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

               Dartach  came  into this world in blood, he killed his mother in childbirth and his father never  forgave him. Growing up his father was a hard man and took out his frustrations on the young Dartach.  This hardened him and he found solace in worshipping the Brathmordakin. The deity Dungrimm really resonated with the boy as he dreamed of slaying foes for the good of a united dwarven kingdom. As he reached adulthood he figured he should go his own path, and with a parting glance to his father he set down the lonely road.

Dartach soon found himself wandering into Kal'Urguan, he heard his father came here occasionally but had never gone himself. The city was overwhelming and was much bigger than anything he could have imagined. he soon found his way to a tavern and found an affinity for ale. He survived by doing an occasional odd job and begging until one day a cleric gave him some coin and spoke of the Brathmordakin, which reminded him of his original task. He cleaned up and spoke to this cleric more, learning of paragons of the dwarven faith and how this aligned with his visage. Dartach had learned how to read and decided to read up on battle tactics. After picking up a few books on battle styles and books on how to train he once again set out on his own.                                                                                                                               

The road was tough, Dartach walked and trained in the day; read and slept in the night. one day this routine was interrupted as he was walking, bandits set upon him. He fought and slew many but their numbers proved too great for him and he was captured. He was dragged back to their camp and put in a cell with other prisoners. At first he kept to himself but he noticed a scarred and filthy old dwarf eyeing him a way he didn't like, so picking up a stick, he confronted the stranger. As he was nearing the stranger he sprang up, much faster than his age would suggest and wacked him over the head with a stick of his own. Dartach had always prided himself on his reactions so being hit with such speed was unfathomable. He quickly retaliated with a swipe of his own but his stick was parried from his hand and he got wacked again. The old dwarf said Dartach had heart and he would train him so that they would one day accept.                

  The old man taught him much and one day, by the Brathmordakin, a chance was offered to them. The night guardsman fell asleep dangerously close to the cell and Dartach quickly pinned him to the cell as the old dwarf took the keys from his belt. They quickly set to work discreetly killing those who were needed to kill to free some fellow dwarves. After freeing some prisoners the old dwarf and Dartach quickly geared up for a long awaited revenge. The bandits didn't know what hit them. They fell upon the bandits with such ferocity that many bandits flew before the battle even began. As the fighting continued, it was clear that the bandit chief was one that Dartach had to take care of personally, the two locked eyes and knew only they could slay the other. The two locked steel and fought for a long time as dwarves and bandits alike stopped fighting to watch. Dartach was gaining the upper hand as one of the bandit swine decided he should step in, as he did Dartach took one second to look at him. That was all the bandit chief needed as he swung his sword at Dartach, the old dwarf instead took the blow. Dartach decapitated the chief and took the old dwarf in his arms and in his dying breath he whispered, "I am proud of you and I know you will accomplish much, my son." The old man went limp and Dartach swore to slay any and all bandits he came across. This is where we find him today, fatherless and looking for a way to feast with the Brathmordakin.

               

Personality Traits:  Headstrong, easy to trust fellow dwarves and resentful of all others, will help the needy because he's been there before.

Ambitions: To fight alongside his fellow dwarves and die honorably in battle

Strengths/Talents: Fairly strong, can read, honorable

Weaknesses/Inabiities:  Sometimes too headstrong, could be lead astray by drink.
