Requiem Made for Sand

A lively tune echoed throughout the lands of Sand. No one thought such a sound could ever be heard from Khalestine, but here it was. A man by the name of Geedin Jayamen, head of The Musicians Guild, tapped his foot against the sustain pedal of his piano before carefully placing mutes on various strings. Glancing up, the man began to notice several people enter the garden. His face beamed and he struck a key firmly eliciting a sharp resonant sound.

Music to my ears

 

The vivacity of each note sent shivers down his spine. He would perform for any who would come and hear his powerful message through an energetic requiem compiled of notes thin and vibrant.

 

He was frolicking through the meadow.
