What’s the rule you agree with the most?: Well the rule I must agree with would be one of the villain rules,  Players must identify themselves clearly if they are not a guard or any other cliche position and if they do they can't change their name to match that role, I would also like to say I very much agree with the rules that promote fair roleplay among all members of the community so people aren't facing what I call one-sided roleplay (One person or party is left out of the enjoyment that roleplay brings)

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): The war rules are fairly complicated and while I grasp their simple concept on a more detailed level I could use a bit of help but i'm going to doing a lot more reading of all topics to make sure I have a good grasp on every rule set so as not to break any of them.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? A friend called Liriel told me about the server and recently i've been looking for some new roleplay so I decided i'd have a look and hopefully revamp my love for Minecraft again.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplay is simply the action of acting, pretending you are a character that you have created based on your personal lore or lore that has been provided and this character can be anything you wish it to be and do anything you want it to do! (Within reason of course)

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the action of using information from outside sources such as something somebody told you in a teamspeak room or anything outside of a roleplay situation to better your chances and use against your enemies/allies.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming can be described as ending your roleplay situation and declaring that you were successful without giving the other person or persons a chance to react in any way such as initiating roleplay and giving the other person a chance to say or do what they intend to do in that situation. - Apologize, I was going off prior definitions of this. - Edit

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: My characters name is going to be Alyan (Elvish name meaning Blessed)

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

I am an elf of course, well to be more specific i'm a high elf, don't see many of those now-a-days so i've been told that is, some kind of curse i'm told but who cares right! In comparison to many of my kind i'm actually quite young; I was born in Haelun'or unfortunately not long after my birth my parents were slaughtered by dark elves while out gathering supplies, they had brought me along with them as they often would but I wish they had left me at home, I was only 8 Years old when a band of vicious dark elves appeared out of nowhere from the surrounding forest, this was during the Emerald Dominion and it was common place for these groups of glory seeking dark elves to attack and kill unsuspecting and innocent high elves, my mother, Arandur and father, Idhrenion could do nothing but hide me in a hollow oak tree while I watched them get slaughtered, it wasn't concerned family members came looking for us that they found me, I was curled up in that very same oak tree, the corpse of my mother and father still lay there, the birds had already gotten to them and there wasn't much left apart from the reminants of another man who my parents had successfully wounded, he subsiquently died of those wounds and I hope it was painful for what he did. - Edit

I lived with friends and family, moving from town to town searching for a purpose with no avail, I did this for about 48 Years of my life, time and time again I thought I found my place but was mistaken. You see the good thing about a guy like me is nobody misses you when you're gone, it was hard for me to make friends, an event like that can change you for better but usually for worse but for 48 Years this was how I lived, a nomad I harvested only what was needed from the forest, sold what I didn't need to get by. The forest was the closest thing I had to a friend, it did everything a friend should, it took care of me and the whistle of birds kept me company. As you can expect as this young age of 56 the world was still a mystery so I took peace in this tranquility, I embraced it. among my belongings were a few notepads that I would scribe observations onto, new creatures I had never witnessed before, new enchantments, new tales and these stories would become my currency I suppose, I would bring crowds of hundreds when they found out I was in town before slipping away quitely and continuing on my travels. Along the way I learnt many new skills, one of the skills that proved most valueble was the knowledge of alchemy, a man named Lithonion taught me how to imbue my basic tools with abilities, they could last longer than any known material, they could chop faster than any lumberjack's axe could and among many other things they were as sharp as a razor.

It is just now that I find my true purpose, in my lifetime of exploration the wonders i've seen would make any mortal man gawp in wonderful, I want to share these stories with all who are willing to listen. I am older and wiser now I see that there is no better time to cement my image for the future than now, I want to leave my mark on the world so that generations to come I will be remembered as an inventor, a great engineer and enchanter not as a simple low-life explorer wasting his life away sneaking in and out of civiliation like a criminal. - I would just like to add that i'm aware of the wars that took place in the lore but having some difficulty fitting it in but as my character developes organicaly and interacts with other people I will get a better idea of how this will all piece together in the long-run. Afterall this is what I want to base my character off and is dynamic to the events that take place so perhaps I may grow to like dark elves after I see that they are not savage but my character witnessed them murder his parents so of course he would concider them savage and untamed individuals to begin with but my character overall has stayed out of wars and instead opts for the quest of adventure over blood and steel. (Hence why I chose a more utility based character than combat based such as a drawf) If I quit procrastinating perhaps I could create a sort of diary of how my character developes and events that happen in his life and you can see how the lore is embeded as Alyan progresses but I will rework my background if it needs any other changes and additions with lore in mind. - Edit

Your definition of Powergaming is incorrect, please refer to the link here for guidance. You've given an example of metagaming instead.

Please include Server Lore into your application. Your racial Sub-Wiki for elves can be found on the Wiki here! It will help you get started in incorporating Server Lore into your Biography such as certain places, wars or even significant event. Just a bit more, it is good you have the High Elven city.

If you read High Elf lore, you will notice that the hair needs to be white, silver or blonde -- even red heads... but not brown like that. That's impure.

Although I have a slight problem with savage dark elves, it's not exactly cliche... just know that dark elves aren't savage -- they're mostly civilized (except for the back-flipping assassin here and there).
