Not being able to do anything after the use of a command

I have heard multiple people complain about it as it just happened to one of my friends JakeFSF. I died and he picked up my items, he did a command such as /me etc. and his inventory was wiped and he could not open doors, use portals, etc and when he tried to do a command the following message appeared :

 

Its frustrating losing your items especially enchanted ones and would appreciate this being fixed.

Yes, it hasn't been the first time that this has happened, I've lost many things due to this glitch, I hope the devs look into this as soon as possible.

Sincerest apologies, for no apparent reason Nexus has decided to throw that error the past few months, I am working to resolve it now, and unfortunately yes, there is nothing you can do but wait until the server restarts if you are affected.
