At this, the two Elves join each other upon the stage, Kelthran continues to speak.

"The Laethisian regime in early Vailor was one of prosperity and hope for our great people. From nothingness we wrought a palace worthy of which to call our home. A marble tower, overlooking the lesser races from hilltop as we were destined to do since our conception as a race. It would not be wrong to claim that Laethis Izalith saved our people when we needed him most, nor would it be inaccurate to state that he was the best Sohaer our city has had since the reign of Sullas.

Despite these great accomplishments, on that fateful day when Laethis’ back was filled with the arrows of vile assassins, he awoke at the Cloud Temple changed. He was no longer the man I knew. His time as leader of our city had come to a fitting end, and my work with The Visionaries of Larihei only proved to unnaturally extend his political influence for the worst. In his short time as Tilurir’mali, Laethis has already managed to violate one of the most sacred laws of our people - The Dichotomy of Lewdness.

I stood silently by as the perverse practitioners of ruinous powers wriggled their way into our venerable city, blinded by the glimmer of hope I still retained for the Laethisian regime. Instead of progress, we have had stagnation. Instead of health, we have invited the accursed into our city. Instead of light, we have allowed the tendrils of darkness to envelop our minds, and twist our vision to a perverse - unacceptable - state.

Daayara is a frost witch. A cannibalistic maiden, thriving on ice and illusion. When Laethis and her invited themselves to my home many years ago, they expressed knowledge of this - both of them. Despite this, Laethis has chosen to walk the path of deviancy. To commemorate the marriage, he laid with this vile creature, knowing in doing so he had sealed his fate.

Laethis has given up the city, and its ideals, in exchange for the loving embrace of darkness and deception. This act cannot go unpunished.”

The Maheral stood there, his figure moving as the speech is given. Under his breath he mutters "maehr'sae hiylun'ehya..." and the speech concludes. His rumpled cloth held tightly in his left hand is brought to his eyes to dab out the beginnings of tears "Too long have they held us prisoners. We fear the darkness no longer and open our arms to the blessed Larihei. Let her guidance illuminate the shadows!"

"Malaurir?" Iatrilemar yells back, having hired a guide to take him to a similar but obviously different mountain top.

"I can't quite hear you. Come have tea with my wife you mysterious mountain-dweller!" He shouts back, this time through a hand-crafted microphone that he had obviously prepared beforehand... Or did he?

"Oh boy! What a story to tell!" He yells from the mountain 180 degrees from his last mountain location.

"You haven't repurposed a mop, have you? If I were to travel to your domicile I would not see a mop in a dress, would I?" Lucion becomes slightly more wary of the random voices seemingly floating on the wind.

"N-No- hueww- No mop! Back since Annil'sul!" He shouts, panting heavily. It appears he has found a mountain top within range of yours and is no about 100 yards away.

"Oh. Well, erm. Would you not inform your wife that I inferred she was a mop? She seemed the type to be upset with such assertions." Yelled Lucion.
