MajesticOwyn 334 Share Posted January 7, 2016 #Nature of the bug: Enchanting tomes, entire stacks of lapis, and other items have vanished from the enchanting table and my inventory. #First occurrence: (Providing an exact time helps us locate the error messages, which can help in fixing the bug) A week ago, maybe more. # Describe exactly all the actions you took leading up to the bug: The most concrete example I can give you is when I go to put an enchanted tome in the table (Let's say, for example, infinity.) to put on a bow. I insert it in the first slot of the table, exit out, and immediately go to shift right click with my bow in hand. The item does not enchant, and upon further inspection, the tome is gone. It's not in any of the table slots (I tried clicking each slot to see if its 'invisible') nor my inventory, the floor, etc. I am not accidently dropping them. At first, I thought I was crazy (I still kind of do) but after encountering it over a dozen times, I'm sure it is not me just simply dropping the books (I've scoured the area each time). # What messages are/aren't you getting that you would/wouldn't get normally : (in the event of a crash, please also provide the error log) None, its completely silent and hard to notice, if not paying attention. # Frequency of occurrence: Randomly. Over the last three weeks I have lost half a dozen tomes, a few stacks of lapis, and some weapons/armour. # Are you able to reproduce the bug: Not reliably. As I said above, it appears to be random. By no means is every single tome or item disappearing, but it's starting to add up, especially when losing enchants. If one is to do mass enchanting of items (I have a stockpile and have been applying it to equipment) then it is likely you will run into it. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

MajesticOwyn 334 Author Share Posted January 7, 2016 I would like to clarify that it doesnt appear items are disappearing only from the enchanting table, nor do I know if the bug is related to it. I was dragging a stack of lapis to do an enchant, and mid-drag it completely vanished, like the tomes. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Drak3 442 Share Posted January 10, 2016 Recently been having issues with enchanting and the item after not even being in the enchanting table. Nothing. It consumes the materials used plus whatever is trying to have the enchant placed upon it.As an example, I had set up sharpness to finish around the time I woke up today.
