First Census Notice of Felsen

The assessment of inhabitants and merchants

As issued by the appointed Head Steward of Felsen Silus II. Iullius Horen,

all home owners, inhabitants, store and stall owners and merchants of the Imperial Capital of Felsen are required to submit a notice to the Head Steward, depicting (visually, descriptive or similar) their current situation of possession within the Capital and a declaration that they do not just "occupy" the abode or location within the city. There is a grace-time until the end of this Imperial Week. Should you fail to adhere the call, your home and abode may be subject to being seized by the Head Steward's office. Later complaints can not be comitted, as the warning has been issued. This is in order to begin bring Felsen a new time of prosperity.

After this grace period a notice about the upcoming new taxation system will be posted. A new taxation office is being set up and furnished accordingly. All other stewards or people affiliated with stewardship within Felsen are to report to the Head Steward with this notice to receive further instructions.

Written,

Signed,

Sealed,

By Silus II. Iullius Horen, Head Steward of Felsen

A letter finds its way onto Silus' desk; the script is eloquent but easy to read.  It reads:

"Greetings, Silus.

I see that you are the new head steward, I am sad to see Josef go, he became a dear friend to me.  I am hoping to continue to foster that friendship.  As your papers may indicate I am a property owner in your city, I own the Nature's Bounty shop, and I own the tree  next to it which I live in.  I of course have official papers validating my purchase of my home and my citizenship, though in this letter I also want to request new shop documents as I don't believe I ever received any.  Still, I am happy to call your beautiful city my home.  Please, don't hesitate to come to my tree if you have any questions, my door is always open (literally, I don't even have a door!).

Signed,

Druid of Song"

A reply comes soon after:

"To the Druid of Song,

after assessing your properties, following will be imposed. The stall falls under class C and will be taxed at fifty minas the Imperial Week, starting next week. As for your tree house, such will not be charged. You are confirmed and entered into the new list of inhabitants.

With best wishes,

Silus II. Iullius Horen, Head Steward of Felsen"

Cheers can occasionally be heard from the tree as the Elf receives his letter and praises the new steward for his 67% cut in taxes.

Attention to all citizens. Should you not have notified the Head Steward yet, you are subject to eviction and your possessions may be seized.

Should you not have been evicted yet, though you may expect it to happen, you can still notify the Head Steward to retain your abode and goods.

Blessings be upon you Head Steward, I wish to have a meeting with you about this as I have more to discuss than simply my holdings, I will find you soon,
